摘要: A dynamic CAM cell has features that reduce the effect of noise within a CAM array. By shielding the matchline from the wordline, noise transmitted from the matchline to the wordline is reduced. By placing the searchline equally distant from a bitline and the bitline complement, the noise transmitted by the searchline is received equivalently by both the bitline and the bitline complement and therefore cancelled out.

摘要: An inflatable docking station for a Mars roving vehicle (Mars rover) provides a recharging station as well as a storage facility for the Mars rover during adverse environmental conditions. The docking station/garage allows for extended operational life for the Mars Rover, allows for the Mars rover to operate at the polar regions of Mars, where extreme cold conditions restrict rover operation, and provides for a warmer habitat for the Mars rover. Conventional planetary roving vehicles only be deployed from the warmer equator region of the planet surface. However, these roving vehicles may never explore the polar regions because the roving vehicle may not have enough stored power. The docking station/garage provides a remote outpost for, among other things, storing and recharging the Mars Rover to allow it to reach more remote areas.

摘要: A sensing circuit (30) for a random access memory (10) is disclosed. A CMOS sense amplifier (32) is coupled between bit line pairs which connected to I/O lines by a passgate (N4/N5). A pair of cross-coupled transistors (N6/N7) activated in synchronism with the passgate (N4/N5) is also disposed between the bit lines. The I/O line pairs each include a pair of cross coupled p-channel transistors (P4/P5). The combined action of the cross-coupled pairs (N6/N7) and (P4/P5) increase the sensing speed of the sensing circuit (30).

摘要: An icephobic coating is disposed on at least a cold side of a condenser in an environmental control system (ECS) of an aircraft. By applying the icephobic coatings to the condenser, the adhesive strength of the ice can be significantly reduced. As a result, it is difficult for ice to stick on the condenser. The vibration in the system and the force of the air flow can then knock the ice particles off of the condenser, resulting in reduced ice buildup.

摘要: Methods and apparatus for supporting electronic promotions and electronic requests for information, e.g., in an integrated manner, on multiple platforms including, e.g., cable network systems, cell phones, etc., are described. Rewards and/or benefits are tracked in a centralized manner and a subscriber is allowed to accumulate rewards and benefits in a single account irrespective of which device or platform was used to initiate an eRFI and/or to act upon a promotion. The methods and apparatus of the present invention allow a cable service provider which supports eRFI on set top boxes to use the same eRFI server to provide responses to eRFI requests received from devices, e.g., cell phones and/or E-mail devices corresponding to a service subscriber, to forward electronic promotion information and to reward users in a forwarding chain for redemptions of coupons included in forwarded promotion information. Forwarded promotion information securely identifies each device/user in the forwarding chain.

摘要: Embodiments herein may store redundant copies of an operational parameter associated with an internal operation of a memory device. The redundant copies and associated parity bits may be stored in sets of writeable, non-volatile storage cells. A working area of the memory device may subsequently be populated with one or more redundant copies of the operational parameter, with a flag associated with the operational parameter, or with both. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

摘要: Charge pump and discharge circuitry for a non-volatile memory device that splits up the discharge operation into two discharge periods. In a first discharge period, the voltage being discharged (e.g., erase voltage) is discharged through a pair of discharge transistors until the discharging voltage reaches a first voltage level. The path through the pair of discharge transistors is controlled by an intermediate control voltage so that none of the transistors of the pair enter the snapback condition. In the second discharge period, the remaining discharging voltage is fully discharged from the first level through a third discharge transistor.

摘要: Space vehicles such as space stations are often constructed as segmented inflatable structures which are susceptible to being punctured by small meteoric materials, resulting in small insidious leaks which are difficult to locate and repair. A method and apparatus are described in which a differential pressure transducer is positioned between segments of the space vehicle. Atmospheric gas pressure of all segments is continuously monitored. Analysis is performed on any pressure differentials which are determined to exist between adjacent segments. Detection of small leaks initiates an automatic isolation of the leaking segment. Detection of catastrophic leaks initiates an emergency evacuation of personnel from the affected segment.
