    摘要: Urea-modified bubble-free moldings based on polyisocyanate polyaddition products are made by reacting (a) an organic polyisocyanate with (b) a polyhydroxyl compound and/or polyepoxide in the presence of (c) a water chain extender in the form of an aqueous alkali aluminosilicate or an aqueous alkali-alkaline earth aluminosilicate of the zeolite type in a mold using cast resin technology. The reaction components are used in quantities such that the equivalent ratio of isocyanate to hydroxyl and/or epoxide groups is from 1.1:1 to 6.1. The chain extender is used in a quantity such that the amount of water is at least equivalent to the excess of isocyanate. These moldings may be made by a one-shot or a two-shot process. These moldings are characterized by better mechanical properties such as tensile strength and elongation than prior art moldings.

    摘要: The present invention provides a two-component composition for use to form a solvent-free fixing material suitable for use in dentistry, which fixing material is liquid at room temperature and has a viscosity in the range of from 5,000 to 100,000 cP, said compositions having: a first component comprising at least one organic polyisocyanate with aliphatically and/or cycloaliphatically bonded isocyanate groups; and a second component comprising (a) at least one polyhydroxy compound having a molecular weight in the range of from 200 to 20,000, being substantially free of ether groups, and having at least 2 aliphatically bonded OH groups and (b) from 1 to 60% by weight, relative to the total mixture, of monohydric and/or polyhydric alcohols with a molecular weight below 200 and/or from 0 to 40% by weight, relative to the total mixture, of oligomeric polyesters containing at least 2 OH groups or ester-diols, with an average molecular weight of from 100 to 500, the first and second components of the mixture being present in amounts corresponding to a NCO/OH ratio of from 0.8:1 1.2:1.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a new organic heterocyclic isocyanate which is the reaction product of an organic diisocyanate and an amino or hydroxy nitrile. The invention also relates to a process of producing such isocyanates by reacting an excess of the diisocyanate with the nitrile under conditions under which the nitrile will not decompose and then maintaining the reaction mixture at an elevated temperature until the isocyanate nitrile adduct cyclizes. The reaction may be carried out in the presence of a catalyst for isocyanate addition reactions. Additionally, the invention relates to a process for the production of polyurethane by the reaction of the heterocyclic isocyanates with compounds carrying at least two isocyanate reactive hydrogen atoms per molecule.
