    Abstract: A display device is provided. The display device comprises: a first electrode and a second electrode spaced apart from and arranged to face the first electrode; a first insulating layer arranged to cover at least a partial region of the first and second electrodes; a shielding electrode layer which is arranged on the first insulating layer and which does not overlap at least a portion of the first and second electrodes; and at least one light-emitting element arranged between the first and second electrodes so as to be spaced apart from the shielding electrode layer, wherein the at least one light-emitting element can be arranged in a region in which the shielding electrode layer does not overlap the first and second electrodes.

    Abstract: A display device includes a first electrode and a second electrode that are spaced apart from and facing each other; a light-blocking layer disposed above the first electrode and the second electrode; and at least one light-emitting element disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode. The light-blocking layer includes a light-blocking portion absorbing light and an opening pattern. The light-blocking portion includes an area partially overlapping the first electrode and the second electrode. The at least one opening pattern exposes portions of the first and second electrodes facing each other and at least a portion of an area between the first and second electrodes facing each other. The at least one light-emitting element overlaps the at least one opening pattern.

    Abstract: A display device may include: a substrate including a display area and a non-display area; and pixels disposed on the display area, and each including sub-pixels, each sub-pixel including a pixel circuit layer, and a display element layer including a light emitting element. The display element layer includes first and second electrodes spaced apart from each other; a first insulating layer disposed between the pixel circuit layer and the light emitting element; and a second insulating layer disposed on the light emitting element and filling spaces between the first insulating layer and ends of the light emitting element. The light emitting element includes a first conductive semiconductor layer, an active layer enclosing at least one side of the first conductive semiconductor layer, a second conductive semiconductor layer enclosing the active layer, an electrode layer enclosing the second conductive semiconductor layer, and an insulating film covering the electrode layer.

    Abstract: An inkjet printing apparatus, a dipole alignment method, and a display device manufacturing method are provided. The inkjet printing apparatus includes a stage, a print head part disposed above the stage, and an electric field generating part that provides an electric field to a space between the stage and the print head part. The dipole alignment method includes providing an electric field at an area above a target substrate, spraying ink including a dipole onto the target substrate through the area, and landing the dipole on the target substrate. The display device manufacturing method includes preparing a base layer on which first and second electrodes are disposed, spraying ink including a light emitting element onto the base layer through the area, landing the light emitting element between the first and second electrodes.
