Abstract:
A method of performing synchronization in a super regenerative receiver (SRR) includes setting a quench rate of the SRR to a value of 1.5 times a chip rate of an incoming signal, acquiring an expected preamble sequence of an arbitrary sample set among a plurality of possible sample sets, acquiring an expected start frame delimiter (SFD) sequence for all of the possible sample sets to achieve frame synchronization, computing respective correlation metrics for bits of the expected SFD sequence while the expected SFD sequence is acquired for all of the possible sample sets, calculating a decision metric based on the correlation metrics in response to an SFD sequence being detected for one or more of the possible sample sets, and identifying a best sample set for demodulating the incoming signal among all of the possible sample sets based on the decision metric to achieve pulse synchronization.

Disclosed is a method of producing 3-hydroxypropionic acid comprising the step of culturing recombinant microorganism comprising a nucleic acid sequence encoding Ilyobacter polytropus-derived glycerol dehydratase, and a nucleic acid sequence encoding dehydrogenase, which converts 3-hydroxypropionaldehyde into 3-hydroxypropionic acid, and a recombinant microorganism used therefor. According to the present invention, the production of 3-hydroxypropionic acid remarkably increases and the production amount of 1,3-propanediol (1,3-PDO), which is generated as by-products when producing 3-hydroxypropionic acid, remarkably decreases, compared to known recombinant microorganisms comprising gene expressing Klebsiella pneumonia-derived Vitamin B12-dependent glycerol dehydratase.

Wireless communication in a wireless network comprises obtaining a transmission opportunity period (TXOP) for communicating with an access point (AP) over a wireless communication channel. An announcement is sent to the AP to share the transmission opportunity period among wireless stations, as a multi-user transmission opportunity period for simultaneously transmitting data from said wireless stations to the AP on multiple uplink (UL) spatial streams over the wireless channel. Correctly received UL frames received by the AP are acknowledged. Error recovery and backoff processing are performed upon loss of communication information based on frame type.

A method of a transmitter transmitting a packet encoded by applying a coding scheme based on a wireless channel environment to a receiver, and a method of the receiver detecting the coding scheme applied to the encoded packet and decoding the packet, in which the transmitter applies a spreading factor corresponding to the coding scheme to a preamble of the packet, and the receiver decodes the packet by detecting the coding scheme using the preamble.
