    摘要: A mechanism for drawing in refrigerant to front compression chambers (28a) of a double-headed piston type compressor differs from a mechanism for drawing in refrigerant to rear compression chambers (29a). More specifically, the mechanism for drawing in refrigerant to the front compression chambers (28a) include suction valves (18a) configured by flap valves. The mechanism for drawing in refrigerant to the rear compression chambers (29a) is configured by a rotary valve (35). Thus, pulsation of the compressor is reduced, so that the generation of noise is suppressed. As a result, a quiet compressor is achieved.

    摘要: An intake manifold is disclosed. The intake manifold includes a first chamber in fluid communication with a PCV line and disposed generally upstream of a second chamber. The chambers are designed to provide a long flow path for the moisture laden PCV gas and to help reduce the introduction of moisture or fluids into the second chamber. This helps to prevent the ingestion of moisture or fluids by the combustion chambers of engine. An optional fluid blocker can also be used to trap fluids and help prevent those fluids from entering a cylinder port.

    摘要: A scorotron charger has a charging wire extending in a specified direction supported in a housing member including a pair of side walls each extending in a direction parallel to the charging wire. An electrode member having a U-shape in cross section is mounted in the housing member and has a bottom plate in the form of a a grid electrode and a pair of upright side plates extending along the charging wire. A plurality of cutouts are formed in the side plates and are so arranged that positions of the cutouts in one side plate are displaced from that of cutouts in the other side plate. A plurality of projections are formed on the side walls of the housing member at positions corresponding to the respective cutouts for engaging with the cutouts.

    摘要: A sheet stack handling apparatus discharges sheet stacks from a bin of a sorter disposed on the side of an image forming apparatus, and includes a sheet stocker, a sheet stack transporting route, and a sheet grasping mechanism. The stack handling or discharge apparatus is disposed on the front side of the sorter. The sheet stocker is disposed in the bottom of the discharging apparatus and stores the sheet stacks. The sheet stack transporting route is provided in the discharging apparatus and extends laterally from the side of the bin and downward to the sheet stacker. The sheet stack grasping mechanism is disposed under the sheet stack transporting route. The sheet stack grasping mechanism grasps a sheet stack in a bin of the sorter, then moves length-wise away from the image forming apparatus, and then moves width-wise to transfer the stack from the bin into the sheet stocker.

    摘要: An air-fuel ratio control system for an internal combustion engine has a perturbation control which oscillates the air-fuel ratio with a first frequency. A first difference signal is generated indicative of a difference between a present value and a first past value from an air-fuel ratio sensor detected at a timing of a first specific period which is set to reduce a specific frequency component corresponding to a specific frequency different from the first frequency. A first frequency component is extracted. A second difference signal is generated indicative of a difference between a present value and a second past value detected at a timing of a second specific period which is set to reduce the first frequency component. The specific frequency component is extracted. A failure of the control system is determined by a relationship between intensities of the first frequency component and the specific frequency component.

    摘要: An abnormality determination device for an air-fuel ratio sensor includes a differential value calculator and an abnormality determiner. The differential value calculator is configured to calculate a differential value of an output value of the air-fuel ratio sensor which is configured to detect an air-fuel ratio of exhaust gas. The abnormality determiner is configured to determine abnormality of the air-fuel ratio sensor based on a result of comparison between a reference output value of the air-fuel ratio sensor and a predetermined threshold. The reference output value is obtained by the air-fuel ratio sensor when the differential value calculated by the differential value calculator becomes a predetermined value.
