    摘要: A device is provided that generates a composite image using a first image and a second image having different exposure conditions. The device includes an image input unit, a likelihood calculating unit, an exposure estimating unit, and a compositing unit. The image input unit inputs the first image and the second image. The likelihood calculating unit calculates a subject motion likelihood at each pixel based on a difference between the first image and the second image. The exposure estimating unit estimates an exposure transform function that conforms the exposure conditions of the first image and the second image to each other based on the subject motion likelihood. The compositing unit composites the first image and the second image by using the exposure transform function.

    摘要: The invention provides an image identification device uses a separating plane to classify block images into the categories. The image identification device includes a target image input unit inputting a target image, a block image generation unit generates block images, a feature quantity computing unit computes feature quantities of the block images, and a category determination unit determines whether the block images are classified into the categories or not. The feature quantity computing unit uses local feature quantities of the block images and a global feature quantity of the target image as a whole, and also in a feature quantity space using features of the block images as coordinate axes, uses coordinate positions of feature quantity vectors optional areas in the feature quantity space to count the block images and causes the global feature quantity to include the number of the block images thus counted.

    摘要: An image processing method for reducing noise of an image to be filtered; the method includes a step of creating shrunken image of shrinking ratio r×r (where r is a natural number) by averaging the pixel values for each pixel in a block for every r pixels, a step of obtaining the pixel value in the shrunken image that correspond to the focus pixel in the source image by performing linear interpolation from the shrunken image pixels, a step of determining the noise reduction filter from the focus pixel and reference pixel in the shrunken image, and a step of computing the compensated pixel value of the focus pixel in the source image by weighted sum of each pixel value applying the filter to the focus pixel in the source image and the corresponding shrunken pixel.

    摘要: A microwave power amplifier having n stages (n is an integer of at least two), which uses bipolar transistors as amplifying elements. Grounded electrodes, bias applying methods, and bias values of the bipolar transistors of the respective stages are set so that phase rotations of output powers of bipolar transistors of m stages (m is an integer of 1.ltoreq.m.ltoreq.n-1) among the n stages are canceled by phase rotation of at least one of the other bipolar transistors of the (n-m) stages. Therefore, the total phase rotation of the power amplifier can be neutralized, resulting in a microwave power amplifier having excellent distortion characteristics.

    摘要: A battery pack has a current detector, a voltage detector, a temperature sensor, and a CPU. The current detector detects a current flowing in secondary cells. When the current flows in the secondary cells, the voltage detector detects the voltage of the secondary cells, and the temperature sensor detects the temperature of the secondary cells. The CPU calculates the extent of deterioration of the secondary cells. The CPU calculates the remaining capacity of the secondary cells, based on the open voltage of the secondary cells, OCV, obtained by the equation: OCV=DV+K.times.DI.times.T.times.F where DV represents the voltage of said secondary cells when used; DI, a current flowing in said secondary cells; T, the temperature of said secondary cells; F, the extent of deterioration of said secondary cells; and K, a predetermined proportional constant.
