Abstract:
There is provided a method of enabling identification of a wireless device in a wireless communication environment, the wireless device being attached to a cellular radio communication network. The method comprises the step of the wireless device sending, to a network node in a Wireless Local Area Network, WLAN, an identifier of the wireless device valid in the cellular radio communication network before or when contacting the WLAN for association of the wireless device in the WLAN. The identifier of the wireless device valid in the cellular radio communication network is signaled in a WLAN message to the network node in the WLAN.
Abstract:
A node of a wireless local-area network, WLAN, determines (1820) a per-cell load value for each of two or more cells in a wide-area cellular network, the per-cell load value indicating, for a first WLAN access point, a portion of the WLAN access point's load corresponding to wireless terminals connected to the first WLAN AP and associated with the respective cell. The WLAN node sends (1830) a report to a node in the wide-area cellular network, the report indicating the per-cell load value for at least one of the two or more cells.
Abstract:
According to some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for performing early measurement comprises receiving an early measurement configuration for performing idle/inactive mode measurements. The early measurement configuration comprising a measurement carrier list. Each entry of the measurement carrier list comprises a carrier frequency and one or more cell identifiers associated with the carrier frequency for which the wireless device is to perform idle/inactive mode measurements. The early measurement configuration further comprises a validity area list, separate from the measurement carrier list. Each entry of the validity area list comprises a carrier frequency and zero or more cell identifiers associated with the carrier frequency for which the wireless device is supposed to perform idle/inactive mode measurements. The method further comprises reselecting to a new cell and determining whether to perform idle/inactive mode measurements while camping on the new cell based on the validity area list.
Abstract:
A method by a network node is provided for handling a re-establishment request. The method includes receiving, from a wireless device, a first request for re-establishment of a connection with the network node in a first cell. The network node determines that a load on the network node exceeds a threshold amount. In response to determining that the load on the network node exceeds the threshold amount, the network node ignores the first request for re-establishment.
Abstract:
A method performed by a User Equipment (UE) for handling a Secondary Cell Group (SCG) configuration in a wireless communications network is provided. The UE receives, from a network node, an SCG configuration and a trigger condition related to the signal quality of a cell associated with the SCG configuration. The UE then performs signal quality measurements of a cell associated with the SCG configuration. When the trigger condition of the cell is fulfilled according to the received SCG configuration, the UE applies the SCG configuration associated to the cell fulfilling the trigger condition.

Abstract:
According to some embodiments, a method performed by an integrated access and backhaul (IAB) network node comprises receiving a backhaul channel configuration from a network node. The backhaul channel configuration comprises a mapping of one or more traffic identifiers to one or more wireless backhaul channels. The method further comprises receiving incoming traffic for transmission on a wireless backhaul channel, determining the wireless backhaul channel for transmitting the incoming traffic based on a type of the incoming traffic and the mapping of one or more traffic identifiers to one or more wireless backhaul channels, and transmitting the received incoming traffic on the determined wireless backhaul channel.
Abstract:
A wireless device operates with dual connectivity to a Master node and a Secondary node, which are both New Radio, NR, nodes. It receives measurement and/or reporting configuration information from a network. It determines whether the received 5 configuration information relates to a MCG or a SCG. Specifically, it is determined that the received configuration information relates to the MCG if the configuration information is received directly within an RRCReconfiguration message received via SRB1, or that the received configuration information relates to the SCG if the configuration information is received directly within an RRCReconfiguration message 0 received via SRB3, or alternatively if the configuration information is received in an RRCReconfiguration message that is embedded within an RRCReconfiguration message received via SRB1.
Abstract:
A method is provided by a wireless device for performing reconfiguration and/or resumption of a radio resource control, RRC, connections while operating in a Multi-RAT Dual Connectivity, MR-DC or standalone New Radio, NR, environment. The method includes suspending the wireless device to an inactive mode. The method further includes resuming operation of the wireless device from the inactive mode. The method further includes receiving an indication to perform one of: releasing a master cell group and perform a configuration on at least one of one or more radio bearer configurations and a secondary cell group configuration; or releasing configurations for a master cell group and a secondary cell group and perform the configuration on one or more radio bearer configurations.
Abstract:
Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method for measurement information. The method, which may be implemented at a terminal device, comprises obtaining measurement information based at least in part on configurations of a master network node and a secondary network node. The terminal device is connected to the master network node and the secondary network node. The method further comprises transmitting a report including the measurement information that comprises frequency information to the master network node, in response to a failure related to the secondary network node.
