摘要: A method and apparatus are disclosed for using alternate paths for descendant nodes for backhaul failure link reporting. In one embodiment, a method for a network node that may be a parent node includes receiving information indicating at least one alternate path of at least one child IAB node to an IAB donor node, the at least one child IAB node being a wireless backhaul node; and using the received information to perform at least one of a backhaul wireless link failure recovery and load balancing of traffic. In another embodiment, a method for a network node that may be a child node includes receiving information indicating at least one alternate path of a parent IAB node to an IAB donor node, the parent IAB node being a wireless backhaul node for the child IAB node. The received information is used to perform at least one operational task.

摘要: A method and network node for backhaul link failure recovery are disclosed. A network node is configured to attempt to find an alternative backhaul link to replace the failed backhaul link. If the attempt to find an alternative backhaul link fails, then the network node communicates a first indication of an existence of the failure to the first child network node one level below the network node affected by the failure and causes the first child network node to find another network node to serve as a new parent network node. If the first child network node finds another node to serve as the new parent network node then the network node is configured to serve as a second child network node of the first child network node so that the first child network node serves as a parent of the network node.

摘要: Systems and methods for triggering measurements before the completion of connection resumption are provided. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device for performing measurements where a current Radio Resource Control (RRC) status is: IDLE or INACTIVE. The method includes monitoring for a potential reception of a downlink message in a cell that the wireless device is camping on; detecting, based upon the reception of the downlink message, information regarding performing measurements; performing measurements based on the information regarding performing the measurements; and reporting the measurement results. In some embodiments, the message is a paging message or a message multiplexed with the paging message. In this way, latency might be reduced to start performing measurements. This early availability of measurements at the target cell might increase the speed at which the wireless device acquires wireless connections such as Carrier Aggregation (CA) or Dual Connectivity (DC) connections.

摘要: Embodiments described herein include a method, in a user equipment, UE, operating in dual connectivity, DC, with a master node, MN, and a secondary node, SN, for suspending a secondary cell group, SCG. The method comprises receiving, from a first radio network node, RNN, a command to suspend the SCG, and, in response to receiving the command, suspending the SCG. This first RNN may be the MN or the SN, in various embodiments. In some embodiments the method may further comprise receiving a command to resume operation with the SCG and, in response to the command to resume operation, resuming operation with the SCG.

摘要: Systems and methods are disclosed herein that relate to handling of dormant state measurement configurations and associated measurements upon inter-Radio Access Technology (RAT) cell reselection. In some embodiments, a method performed by a wireless device comprises receiving one or more dormant state measurement configurations from a network node of a source RAT, performing measurements while in a dormant state in accordance with at least one of the one or more dormant state measurement configurations, and performing an inter-RAT cell reselection from the source RAT to a target RAT while in the dormant state. The method further comprises, upon performing the inter-RAT cell reselection, performing one or more actions to handle dormant state measurement configurations and/or measurements performed in accordance with dormant state measurement configurations. Corresponding embodiments of a wireless device are also disclosed.

摘要: Embodiments of the present disclosure include methods, performed by a first node in an integrated access backhaul (IAB) network, for flow control of data transmission from a base station to a plurality of user equipment (UEs) via the IAB network. Such embodiments can include detecting a reduction in data transmission throughput in the first node, and determining that the reduction in data transmission throughput is due to congestion in one or more particular downstream nodes in the IAB network. Such embodiments can also include sending a flow-control message to an upstream node in the IAB network, wherein the flow-control message identifies one or more nodes, in the IAB network, for which a flow-control operation is requested in relation to data transmitted from the upstream node. Other embodiments include complementary methods performed by a second node (e.g., upstream from the first node) and IAB nodes configured to perform such methods.
