摘要： A leather-like sheet material including a fibrous substrate and an elastomeric film layer which are bonded to each other with a silicone-compound-containing water-soluble or water-dispersible adhesive layer of an elastic polymer, and the leather-like sheet material is produced by a process for the production of a leather-like sheet material by attaching the fibrous substrate and the elastomeric film layer, which process includes applying a water solution or water dispersion of an elastic polymer, the water solution or water dispersion containing a silicone compound, to the attachment surface of one of the fibrous substrate and the elastomeric film layer and drying the applied solution or dispersion. According to this invention, there is provided a leather-like sheet material excellent in abrasion resistance and at the same time excellent in tenacity against peeling and flexibility, and a production process thereof.

摘要： A cleaning apparatus of the present invention includes a roll brush for scrubbing the surface of the substrate, and an ultrasonic nozzle for blowing an aqueous cleaning solution against the surface of the substrate and generating an ultrasonic wave, wherein the roll brush and the ultrasonic nozzle are provided so as to oppose one another so that the substrate can be set in between. With the synergetic effects of brush scrubbing cleaning, ultrasonic cleaning and shower-cleaning, the precision cleaning of the upper surface of the substrate can be performed at a sufficient level of cleanliness. Moreover, in a state where the substrate to be cleaned is set, the roll brush can be cleaned automatically by the ultrasonic nozzle, and it is therefore possible to maintain the roll brush at high level of cleanliness without requiring maintenance operations. Furthermore, by integrating the roll brush and the ultrasonic wave nozzle in one part, the size of the apparatus can be reduced in the transport direction of the substrate, thereby reducing an overall footprint area.

摘要： An automobile traction control system in combination with a throttle control system of an internal combustion engine for controlling traction of drive wheels, comprises a sub-throttle for adjusting an engine-power by varying its opening amount and a controller responsive to a slip amount of the drive wheel for controlling the sub-throttle opening to reduce an engine-power irrespective of an accelerator pedal work when the slip amount exceeds a predetermined threshold. To effectively suppress undesired acceleration-slip for example when starting on a low-.mu. road, the controller performs a sub-throttle slow-opening control under a particular condition of at least a low vehicle speed, a low-.mu. road and a great depression of an accelerator. During the slow-opening control, the sub-throttle opening increases slowly, after once adjusting the sub-throttle opening essentially to zero irrespective of the slip amount of the drive wheel.

摘要： In a starter system for an internal combustion engine using a planetary reduction gear unit, the internal gear of the planetary reduction gear unit, the center bracket accommodating the internal gear and the pinion cover are joined together so as not to rotate relative to one another by using radial projections provided in the outer circumferential surface of the internal gear which are passed through openings provided in the center bracket and received by associated recesses provided in the pinion cover. The three members are thus prevented from rotating relative to one another with a simple structure which is also easy to assemble. The projection of the internal gear may also be used for securing an annular seal member interposed between an axial end surface of the internal gear and the corresponding shoulder surface of the center bracket.

摘要： For alleviating the problem in continuous casting of beam blanks that cracks are frequently formed at the fillet parts thereof not only is the mold cavity provided with a taper at its web part in the casting direction, but also the curvature 1/R of the curved fillet parts of the mold cavity are successively varied in accordance with the amount of free shrinkage of the solidified shell of the beam blank strand. Such variation in curvature is particularly significant in the casting of beam blanks having a web height that is close to 1 m.
