Abstract:
There is provided a vehicle opening/closing body driving apparatus which allows reduction in the number of components and reduction of cost and which allows application of appropriate tension to a cable. The invention also intends to reduce the workload needed at the time of cable installment and facilitate the installment. The apparatus includes a cable retained to the opening/closing body of the vehicle for opening/closing this opening/closing body, a drive wheel, a drive mechanism for moving the cable back and forth, a guide member for guiding the cable extending from the opening/closing body to the drive wheel and further guiding the cable past the drive wheel back to the opening/closing body, a support member for supporting either the guide member or the drive wheel and a tension applying member affixed to the support member and configured to apply a tension to the cable.
Abstract:
A power supply device comprises a bidirectional voltage converter unit that performs voltage stepping up or voltage stepping down between a first terminal and a second terminal; a first switching unit that applies a DC voltage obtained from the first electric power supply source to the first terminal; a second switching unit that applies a DC voltage obtained from the second electric power supply source to the first terminal; a third switching unit that applies a DC voltage obtained from the first electric power supply source to the second terminal; an output unit that outputs a predetermined DC voltage from the second terminal; and a switching control unit that controls switching of the first switching unit, the second switching unit and the third switching unit.
Abstract:
[Object] To provide a composition for inhibiting the onset of arteriosclerosis by using a rare sugar D-psicose and a method of inhibiting the onset of arteriosclerosis.[Means for Resolution] The composition for inhibiting the onset of arteriosclerosis is characterized by comprising D-psicose as an active ingredient for an antiatherogenic action. The antiatherogenic action as described above includes an action of inhibiting or reducing the expression of a chemokine or a cytokine related to arteriosclerosis in vivo and an action of promoting the expression of a receptor involved in the improvement of arteriosclerosis without affecting the expression of an arteriosclerosis inducer. This composition is used in the form of a product selected from the group consisting of sweeteners, seasonings, food additives, food materials, foods and drinks, health foods and drinks, drugs, quasi drugs and feeds blended with D-psicose and/or its derivative and/or a mixture thereof as the active ingredient. The method of inhibiting the onset of arteriosclerosis is a method of using the above composition.
Abstract:
A disc cartridge capable of preventing a recording surface section of a disc from being contacted by a casing and placing the disc at a proper position in the casing without damaging and polluting, to thereby ensure the safe and smooth operation of the disc in the casing. The disc cartridge includes a pair of disc receivers each of which is formed therein with a recess for receiving a peripheral portion of the disc. The recess has an end surface contacting an outer periphery of the disc, which is formed into a substantially sideways V-shape of which an apex is positioned at substantially a center of the end surface to position the outer periphery of the disc at the center of the end surface.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a tape protecting cover of a video tape cartridge, especially to a shaft having a groove the shaft being formed integrally with the tape protecting cover. A first and second molds 12 and 14 divided by the parting line 20 have dents 16 and 18 respectively to form a space when both molds are joined. The dent 16 of the first mold 12 is provided with a rectangular pin 22 for forming a groove so that its one end surface 22a may abut to the end wall surface 16a of the dent 16. The front side 22b of the rectangular pin 22 extends so as to extrude to the dent 18 of the mold 14, and is constructed to form an inclined surface 22c between the end surface 22a of the rectangular pin 22 and itself. The end wall surface 18a of the dent 18 of the second metallic mold 14 is formed to have a same inclined angle .theta. as the rectangular pin so as to abut to the inclined surface 22c of the rectangular pin 22 when both metallic molds are joined.
Abstract:
A magnetic tape cassette provided with a separating sheet interposed between a magnetic recording tape and a half casing. The separating sheet is provided with first protrusions projecting toward the tape and second protrusions projecting toward the half casing.
Abstract:
A tape cassette including a pair of plates having a pair of bent portions each for holding magnetic tape and reel hubs on which the magnetic tape is wound. A plurality of cut portion are formed in each of the bent portions for defining portions facing the reel hubs, such portions projecting toward the reel hubs so as to be in contact with the reel hubs.
Abstract:
A magnetic tape cassette in which a cassette housing has half cases with aligned, confronting projections on innder surfaces thereof on which a cylindrical guide roll with an axial bore therethrough is supported, has an annular, axially projecting rib on either the guide rolls or the projections so as to prevent any burrs which may be on the guide roll around the axial bore therethrough from coming into contact with the projections, thereby preventing noise which might otherwise be caused by the burrs.
Abstract:
A hand grip has an arm and a leg. The arm and the leg extend through a door outer panel and are supported by a holder member and a frame member in a freely pivotable manner, respectively. By operating the hand grip in the same direction as when a sliding door is opened, the arm is pivoted relative to the holder member retained at an initial position, so that a full close latch mechanism is unlocked. By operating the hand grip in the same direction as when the sliding door is closed, the leg is pivoted relative to the frame member, while the holder member is pivoted relative to the frame member against urging force of a coil spring, so that a full open latch mechanism is unlocked.
Abstract:
A driving mechanism is arranged such that at least a part is contained within a space corresponding to the external shape of a driving motor, that is, within a space corresponding to a distance in the radial direction of the driving motor. The driving mechanism comprises a pinion, a transmission gear, a ring gear that forms a fixed axis, and a carrier. The pinion is connected to a rotary shaft of the driving motor. The transmission gear has a disk gear portion that meshes with the pinion, and a sun gear portion that is located on the same side as the pinion with respect to the disk gear portion. The carrier has a planet gear and rotates with a drum.
