    摘要: Disclosed herein are a poly(arylene thioether) block copolymer alternately comprising (A) at least one poly(arylene thioetherketoneketone) block having predominant recurring units of the formula ##STR1## and (B) at least one poly(arylene thioether) block having predominant recurring units of the formula ##STR2## (a) the ratio of the total amount of the poly(arylene thioether) block (B) to the total amount of the poly(arylene thioetherketoneketone) block (A) being within a range of 0.1-9 by weight, (B) the weight average molecular weight of the poly(arylene thioether) block (B) being at least 1,000, and (c) said block copolymer having a melt viscosity of 2-100,000 poises as measured at 380.degree. C. and a shear rate of 1,200/sec as well as a production process of the block copolymer.

    摘要: Disclosed herein is a process for the production of an arylene thioether copolymer (C), wherein an alkali metal sulfide is caused to act on a poly(arylene thioether) (A) having predominant recurring units of the formula [I]: ##STR1## wherein R denotes an alkyl group having 1-6 carbon atoms, and 1 stands for 0 or an integer of 1-4, in a water-containing polar organic solvent so as to depolymerize the poly(arylene thioether) (A), thereby preparing a prepolymer (B) having an alkali thiolate group on at least one terminal thereof and the resultant prepolymer (B) is then subjected to a polymerization reaction with at least one dihalogen-substituted aromatic compound.

    摘要: The invention provides a thermally foamable microsphere whose shell is formed of a polymer that is obtained by the polymerization of a polymerizable monomer and a crosslinkable monomer at a proportion of greater than 1% by weight up to 5% by weight based on the polymerizable monomer and which has a maximum expansion ratio of at least 5. The invention also provides a process for the production of a thermally foamable microsphere having a maximum expansion ratio of at least 5 by the suspension polymerization of a polymerizable mixture containing a crosslinkable monomer at a proportion of greater than 1% by weight up to 5% by weight based on the polymerizable monomer.

    摘要: In a process for producing poly(phenylene sulfide), in which an alkali metal sulfide is reacted with a dihalo-aromatic compound in an organic amide solvent, the reaction is conducted through the following Steps 1 and 2, thereby efficiently providing granular, high-molecular weight poly(phenylene sulfide) having excellent whiteness in a short period of time and at a high yield. Step 1: a step comprising reacting the alkali metal sulfide with the dihalo-aromatic compound within a temperature range of 170.degree.-270.degree. C. in the organic amide solvent containing water in a proportion of 0.5-2.0 moles per mole of the alkali metal sulfide charged while raising the reaction temperature at an average heating rate of 0.1.degree.-1.degree. C./min in at least a temperature range of from 220.degree. C. to 240.degree. C., so as to give a conversion of the dihalo-aromatic compound of 70-98 mol %, thereby forming a: prepolymer of poly(phenylene sulfide); and Step 2: a step comprising adding water to the reaction system at a temperature of at least 235.degree. C. in such a manner that water is present in a proportion of 2.1-10 moles per mole of the alkali metal sulfide charged, and continuing the reaction for 0.5-10 hours within a temperature range of 245.degree.-290.degree. C., thereby converting the prepolymer to high-molecular weight poly(phenylene sulfide).

    摘要: A poly(arylene sulfide) resin composition comprising in admixture a poly(arylene sulfide) resin and at least one nickel compound selected from the group consisting of (a) nickel carbonates, (b) nickel hydroxide, (c) organic carboxylates of nickel and (d) nickel oxide is provided. According to the resin composition of the invention, the metal corrosiveness of the poly(arylene sulfide) resin upon and after its molding or forming is sufficiently inhibited without deteriorating the excellent heat resistance, mechanical properties, processability and the like inherent in the resin.

This graft copolymer alone or in a mixture thereof with another thermoplastic resin, because of the presence of the polyalkylene oxide monomer unit incorporated in the rubber trunk polymer, provides a resin composition possessing excellent antistatic property, which, practically, is not lowered by washing.
