摘要： An intermediate transfer belt having a plurality of layers including a conductive layer, and having a transfer area and a transfer protection area. A CPU sends a control signal to a primary transfer bias generating circuit, and applies a primary transfer bias upon the conductive layer of the intermediate transfer medium through a bias applying member. The CPU changes an output value of the primary transfer bias in accordance with a predetermined bias change condition when a secondary transfer is not ongoing and when a non-image area, in which there is no toner image transferred on the intermediate transfer belt, such as the transfer protection area is passing the primary transfer part.

摘要： To issue a warning against an improper (a lowered) air pressure in accordance with a vehicle state and driver's presence/absence, the warning system includes air pressure measuring means for measuring an air pressure of a tire of a vehicle; air pressure judging means for judging whether or not the air pressure is proper; warning issuing means for issuing, if a result of the judgment is negative, a warning; and driver on-board judging means for judging whether or not a driver is on board the vehicle; and driver detecting means for detecting whether or not the driver is in the proximity to the vehicle. If the results of the judgments by the air pressure judging means and the driver on-board judging means are negative and a result of the detection by the driver detecting means is positive, the warning issuing means issues the warning outside the vehicle.

Further, the information processing device calculates a statistic of a plurality of nutrition value information pieces correlated to the plurality of respective images retrieved, and outputs the statistic calculated.

摘要： Disclosed is a method of testing electrical characteristics of a semiconductor device having a ball-shaped external electrode. The method comprises preparing a plurality of cantilever-type contactors each supported by a support plate at a given position, and formed in such a manner that a tip thereof has a flat surface with an arc-shaped edge in an outer peripheral region thereof, and a cross-sectional diameter in a vicinity of the tip is greater than a radius of the ball-shaped external electrode, and pairing the cantilever-type contactors to provide paired two contactors. The method includes the steps of: pressing either one of the support plate and the semiconductor device toward the other in such a manner that the arc-shaped edges of the paired two contactors are brought into contact with respective ones of two surface regions of the ball-shaped external electrode divided by an axis of the ball-shaped external electrode passing through a middle point between the two positions where the paired two contactors are supported, so as to form Kelvin contacts; and further overly driving either one of the support plate and the semiconductor device relative to the other in such a manner that the arc-shaped edges of the paired two contactors are slidingly moved along respective ones of the two surface regions of the ball-shaped external electrode to perform a wiping operation.

摘要： When an alarm switch of a transmitter is given a long press carried out for one or more seconds in a timer-reset condition, a first alarm reversal signal is transmitted simultaneously with the setting (starting) of the timer. If the alarm switch is pressed within the set time of the timer regardless of a press time period, a second alarm reversal signal is transmitted, and the timer is reset. On a receiver side, the activation and deactivation of the alarm is alternately performed upon receipt of each alarm reversal signal.

摘要： An inexpensive, high precision accumulation type remaining battery capacity meter and method are provided, whereby the remaining capacity of the battery is determined by computing an accumulated discharge value and is displayed in steps on a display unit. The meter includes a memory device with at least one data table relating the terminal voltage of a battery discharging at a predetermined discharge current or discharge power to the remaining capacity of the battery. The data table is used to correct the computed remaining capacity displayed on the display unit. Corrections are only made within a specified range so that abnormal change in the displayed capacity is prevented.
