摘要： A magnetic recording medium is disclosed which is comprised of a non-magnetic support base having a magnetic layer on one surface and a silicone oil layer formed on the opposite surface. The silicone oil layer does not produce dropouts and eliminates scraping and therefore eliminates dust particles that collect and build up in the area of the magnetic head. The silicone layer is formed from a silicone-containing compound having a viscosity of at least 6,000 centistokes at 25.degree. C.

摘要： The present invention relates to a magnetic recording medium excellent in S/N ratio and abrasion resistance, which comprises a non-magnetic support and a magnetic recording layer coated thereon, consisting of a ferromagnetic fine powder and a binder, in which the binder contains (1) nitrocellulose having an average polymerization degree of 50 to 300 and a nitrification degree of 10.7 to 13 and (2) a polyurethane resin having a number average molecular weight of 40,000 to 100,000, obtained from diphenylmethane diisocyanate and a mixture of polyneopentyl adipate having an average molecular weight of 800 to 2000 and polybutylene adipate having an average molecular weight of 800 to 2000 in a mixing proportion by weight of 2/8 to 9/1.

摘要： A process for producing a magnetic recording medium is disclosed. The process involves coating a non-magnetic base with magnetic coating solution containing fine ferromagnetic particles and a binder comprising nitrocellulose, polyol and an isocyanate having at least two isocyanato groups. In the process, the web having 0.3 to 3 wt % of the residual solvent in the magnetic layer is calendered, and the calendered web is then dried thoroughly.

摘要： A silver halide photographic light-sensitive material comprising a hydrophilic organic colloid layer containing a photographic additive dispersed therein using as a solvent a benzoic acid ester which has a boiling point of greater than 250.degree. C at atmospheric pressure, which is soluble in water in a proportion of less than about 10% by weight, and which dissolves water in a proportion of less than about 5% by weight.
