摘要: Disclosed is an absorbent article including a liquid absorbent layer for absorption and retention of liquid and a liquid passage layer located on a liquid-receiving side of the liquid absorbent layer. The liquid passage layer includes a first passage layer and a second passage layer disposed between the first passage layer and the liquid absorbent layer. The first passage layer and the second passage layer are resin films formed with a plurality of liquid passage apertures. The individual liquid passage apertures are defined by a peripheral wall projecting toward the liquid absorbent layer to provide the first passage layer and the second passage layer with thicknesses greater than a thickness of the resin film itself. Under a load in a thickness direction, the second passage layer has a greater compressibility than the first passage layer.

摘要: Disclosed is an elongated absorbent article, in which liquid passage holes and embossments are dispersed in a central region including a front portion and a rear portion. Aperture density obtained by dividing (total of areas occupied by the liquid passage holes in the front portion) by (area of the front portion) is higher than aperture density obtained by dividing (total of areas occupied by the liquid passage holes in the rear portion) by (area of the rear portion), while embossment density obtained by dividing (total of areas occupied by the embossments in the rear portion) by (area of the rear portion) is higher than embossment density obtained by dividing (total of areas occupied by the embossments in the front portion) by (area of the front portion).

摘要: Provided is an absorbent article including an absorbent layer and a top sheet having a number of perforations and disposed on a body facing surface of the absorbent layer. The top sheet is made of a multi-layered resin film having at least two resin layers composing of an outer resin layer exposed outside the body facing surface and at least one inner resin layer disposed nearer to the absorbent layer than the outer resin layer thereto. At least, the outer resin layer contains a particulate material having a mean particle size of from 2 &mgr;m to 20 &mgr;m, and the inner resin layer has the resin density smaller than that of the outer resin layer.

摘要: Provided is an absorbent article including a back sheet, an absorbent layer, and a top sheet covering at least the absorbent layer. The top sheet includes a fiber layer, and a resin layer which is applied to the surface of the fiber layer in a plurality of band-shaped rows. At least one of the rows is a discontinuous row composed of discontinuous band-shaped portions arranged at a spacing in the axial direction of the row. The area not having the resin layer between adjacent discontinuous band-shaped portions in the axial direction of the row is located at least in the region covering the absorbent layer. Accordingly, the top sheet is liquid-permeable between the adjacent rows and in the area not having the resin layer between adjacent discontinuous band-shaped portions in the axial direction of the row.

摘要: The disclosure relates to a molding member, for instance for automobile front window plates, as well as a method of manufacturing such molding members. The molding member has a lip section in the form of a ridge which extends throughout the entire length. The lip section bears against the surface of the window plate along the upper portion to realize a flush outer surface between the upper edge of the window plate and the body panel, but is spaced therefrom along the side portions to define a weir. The weir can be formed by deforming a predetermined location of the ridge, and prevents flow of the rain water across the molding member to preserve the driver's or passenger's sight through an adjacent side window.

摘要: A novel method of producing molding members for automobiles, formed at least partly of a synthetic resin material is disclosed. According to the method of the invention, synthetic resin material is extrusion molded into a continuous body with a substantially constant cross-section throughout the entire length thereof. A controlled amount of the material is removed from a predetermined location of the continuous body, corresponding to a water flow blocking projection, synchronously with the extrusion molding of the material, such that the cross-section of the continuous body varies in the longitudinal direction of the body. The continuous body subjected to the controlled removal of the material is then cut into the predetermined length of the molding member.

摘要: A process is provided for producing non-woven fabrics in which adhered points supporting the non-woven fabrics structure are the same carbon materials with the component fibers and which is superior in strength, dimensional stability, heat-resisting property, chemical resistance, electric conductivity, etc. This process comprises mixing spun pitch fibers or insufficiently infusiblized pitch fibers with infusiblized pitch fibers or carbonized pitch fibers, shaping the mixture into a sheet or the like and thereafter carbonizing the shaped mixture in the atmosphere of an inert gas to mutually fix the component fibers by utilizing the adhering property of the spun pitch fibers or the insufficiently infusiblized pitch fibers during the carbonization.

摘要: A compressed portion is formed in the absorbent article by compressing the absorber through a compression process. The compressed portion has a top-surface groove formed on the skin-contact-surface side, and a back-surface groove formed on the clothing-contact-surface side. A bottom portion of the top-surface groove is flat. Since the recessed portions are formed in the bottom portion of the back-surface groove through the compression process, a compression part where the density of the absorber is increased more than in an uncompressed portion and high compression parts where the density of the absorber is increased more than in the compression part are formed in the bottom portion. Thus, the absorbent article can be permeate into by a thick liquid, and is more likely to absorb liquid.
