摘要： A compression system includes a compression device and a controller. A treated material is pressed longitudinally through a compression chamber by simultaneously applying a lateral pressure and a two-dimensional cross-section compression which includes a pressure applied in a direction traverse to a direction of transport and a pressure applied in a direction parallel to the direction of transport. The controller controls the two-dimensional cross-section compression applied to the treated material such that, during compression, liquids in the treated material migrate to the outer surface of the treated material upon reaching the outlet orifice.

An induction winding encircles and extends along an outer surface of the barrel. A control system includes a controller that determines a duty cycle referenced to a length of the machine cycle in response to an error between a desired barrel temperature and a current barrel temperature. The controller electrically connects the power supply to the induction winding at least once during each cycle for a period whose length corresponds to the duty cycle.

摘要： A kneading apparatus includes a barrel having a chamber, which is a tubular hollow, a biaxial screw set for extruding a material to be kneaded downstream by rotation of the biaxial screw set inside the chamber, and kneading blade sections, mounted in the screw set, for kneading the material by shearing the material in tip clearances and a wedge-shaped space between an inside wall of the chamber and the kneading blade sections. The tip clearance becomes narrower from the upstream side to the downstream side in the direction of extrusion of the material. The kneading apparatus, which performs a continuous kneading operation, makes it possible to set proper kneading conditions in accordance with changes in the state of a material being continuously kneaded, and achieves high kneading efficiency.

摘要： A novel method of producing molding members for automobiles, formed at least partly of a synthetic resin material is disclosed. According to the method of the invention, synthetic resin material is extrusion molded into a continuous body with a substantially constant cross-section throughout the entire length thereof. A controlled amount of the material is removed from a predetermined location of the continuous body, corresponding to a water flow blocking projection, synchronously with the extrusion molding of the material, such that the cross-section of the continuous body varies in the longitudinal direction of the body. The continuous body subjected to the controlled removal of the material is then cut into the predetermined length of the molding member.
