摘要: A memory system for network broadcasting applications, such as video/audio applications, has at least one memory which is divided into a plurality of addressable memory units, which have a respective dedicated output for interchanging data. The inputs of a matrix switch are connected to a respective output of a different memory unit. The matrix switch is operated such that a plurality of the memory units are connected to its output in a sequential order. A first sequence of memory units and a second sequence of memory units are connected to its output independently. This results in a memory system, which can handle a number of requests to the same memory at staggered times. The interaction of the individual memory units with the matrix switch allows a high data throughput and a short access time.

摘要: A tester for semiconductor components with a plurality of channels is connected to a specific semiconductor component in order to characterize the signal path between tester and semiconductor component under production conditions. The specific semiconductor component includes measuring units that are connected to connection contacts and in each case provide the functionality of a signal generator, a signal detector, a digital communication interface and a receiving unit for trigger signals. The specific semiconductor component further includes a trigger logic to convey trigger signals between the receiving unit of a first one and the signal generator or detector of a second one of the measuring units.

摘要: An insertable calibration device for a programmable tester apparatus comprises at least one calibration unit and a control unit. The progammable tester apparatus is configured to test at least one electronic device with electronic circuits. The progammable tester apparatus comprises a holding device, contact-making devices for the electronic device, and tester channels for coupling in signals to the electronic device. The calibration unit is connected to a first tester channel to be calibrated. The calibration unit is configured to detect a calibration signal edge of a calibration signal that is transmitted by the tester apparatus at a certain transmission instant, to detect a reference signal edge of a reference signal that is transmitted by the tester apparatus via a second tester channel at a reference instant, to compare the instants at which the two signal edges arrive, and to output a comparison result. The control unit evaluates the comparison results and can be used to program the transmission instants in such a way that the instants at which the calibration signal edge and the reference signal edge arrive, for the compensation of signal propagation time differences, are substantially identical. The calibration device has the same form and connections as the electric device and is insertable into the holding device with an accurate fit instead of the electronic device.

摘要: A method for integrating imperfect semiconductor memory devices having functional and defective memory cells into a data processing apparatus. The defective memory cells are assigned defect addresses or defect address ranges. Before a memory access of the data processing apparatus is carried out, the address of the memory access is compared with the defect addresses or defect address ranges and is recoded in the event of correspondence.

摘要: Headbox for a machine and process for forming the same. The headbox includes a plurality of channels arranged in rows that extend across a width of the machine and in columns substantially perpendicular to the rows, at least one lamella positioned between adjacent rows, a fixing point for the at least one lamella, and lamellar supports positioned after the fixing point, relative to a headbox flow. 摘要: Sheet formation system and method for reducing wavy edges in a fourdrinier machine. The system includes a headbox having a nozzle bring adapted to produce a pulp suspension jet across a width of the machine, at least one rotating screen positioned to receive the pulp suspension jet, and at least two deckle plates adjacent to the screen. The deckle plates may be adjustably positionable such that a distance between the deckle plates and a centerline of the screen is adjustable in a machine direction over a substantial portion of a length of the side shields. The method includes directing a pulp suspension jet onto the rotating shield between the deckle plates to form a web sheet, moving the web sheet in a machine direction, and adjusting a distance between the deckle plates as the web sheet is moved in the machine direction. The method also includes positioning the mechanical deckle plates having a flat surface being adapted to face the pulp suspension in the pulp suspension application area to form edges of the sheet being formed and bending the flat surface of the mechanical deckle plates as the formed sheet travels in a machine direction.

摘要: Process and a device for detecting a change in the fiber orientation cross-direction profile of a paper or cardboard web in the manufacturing process on a paper or cardboard machine. It is recognized that a change in the fiber orientation cross-direction profile in the web is inferred or determined by way of a characteristic change in the basis weight cross-direction profile or at least one measurement quantity that correlates to it, and/or by way of a characteristic change in the basis weight in the travel direction of the web or at least one measurement quantity that correlates to it. The device includes an arrangement for detecting a change in the basis weight cross-direction profile and/or a characteristic chronological course of the change in the basis weight, which is characteristic for a change in the fiber orientation.

摘要: In this arrangement, each of two elements, namely a support element and a flow control element forms on at least one of its two outsides part of a flow control surface. A joint element couples the flow control element movably to the support element and is arranged at a distance behind the flow control surfaces. The support element and the flow control element have in the area of the joint element, end faces that face each other. These define a space which is filled up by a soft and elastic filler piece.
