Abstract:
The present invention relates to test devices, and in particular devices capable of detecting the presence or absence of an analyte in a sample, such as a liquid sample. Also provided are methods of using such devices for quantitative or qualitative measurement of one or more analytes in a liquid sample.
Abstract:
A system to supply power to an electronic system, comprises a set of one or more power units each configured to transform an input voltage into an output voltage; and a line regulator coupled to a power unit and configured to modulate a duty cycle of the power unit and a load regulator configured to provide a second control signal to a power unit to selectively enable the power unit based on load information provided by the electronic system.
Abstract:
A method of forming an elongated tubular blank into a tubular structural component having a predetermined outer configuration, the method comprising: providing a shape imparting shell formed from a low permeability, rigid material which includes an inner surface defining the predetermined shape, plugging the open ends of the tubular blank, placing the plugged blank into the shell, and forming the tubular blank into the tubular component by inductively heating axial portions of the blank by axially spaced conductors adjacent the shell while or before forcing gas at a high pressure into the plugged blank until the blank conforms to at least a portion of the inner surface of the shell to form the structural component.
Abstract:
A 384X-based burst mode PWM controller includes an oscillator to generate a pulse signal of a constant frequency, an output circuit to generate an output signal based on the pulse signal, an error amplifier to generate an amplified error signal, a logic control current source connecting to a current sense input of a comparator, the comparator which compares the voltage of the current sense input with the voltage of the error signal to generate a comparison signal, a PWM latch to generate a pulse control signal corresponding to the pulse signal and based on the comparison signal. The pulse control signal controls the output circuit and the logic control current source in opposite conditions of turning on and off. The controller can replace 384X directly and save energy.

Additionally, the invention further comprises a method of using said inhibitors of apoptosis in the treatment in human patients with the acquired disease states of brain ischemia, stroke, Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), head trauma, or other neurodegenerative disorders.
Abstract:
The present application proposes an airborne electromagnetic signal observation device and a system carried by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). The device includes an inner frame, an outer frame and a flexible support that are connected to each other. The device and the system can enhance the stability of the sensor in flight and greatly suppress motion noise.
Abstract:
Techniques are disclosed for generating statistical views in a database system. In one embodiment, a request is received to execute a database workload. One or more constraints pertaining to executing the database workload is retrieved. The database workload is evaluated to generate multiple statistical view candidates. The statistical view candidates are refined based on the one or more constraints. One or more statistical views are then generated based on the refined statistical view candidates.
Abstract:
A method and a system for processing downlink control information are disclosed, in which downlink control information for the subframe n may be transmitted in a subframe n or the downlink control information for the subframe n may be transmitted in a subframe n−1. By means of technology for processing control channel information provided by the disclosure, a region where the downlink control information is transmitted is added, and space division technology can be fully utilized, so that a load of a Physical Downlink Control Channel (PDCCH) is reduced, the interference between control channels is reduced, and the capacity of the control channel is enlarged.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method and system for mapping a reference signal sequence in an advanced Long Term Evolution (LTE) system, and the method and the system are used to map the reference signal sequence to an orthogonal frequency division multiplexing symbol of l. The method includes: when the system uses a normal cyclic prefix, determining the symbol l according to an expression, and mapping the reference signal sequence to a location of a sub-carrier k on the symbol l of an antenna port p. The system includes: a mapping module, a first acquiring module and a second acquiring module. The system and the method which are provided ensure the transmission performance while ensuring the interference randomization. In addition, the system and the method are compatible with existing LTE systems, thus realizing high-order Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) transmission, supporting the usage of the corresponding techniques.
