摘要: A flexible and rigid thin hoop to be inserted into wet pants, shirts, or other appropriate clothing for the purposes of reducing or eliminating wrinkles. This invention reduces the use of electricity by old methods such as ironing or professional pressing, and reduces the risk of injury by burns. The preferred method of use eliminates the step of using a drier, thus further saving electricity and time in laundry activities. Additionally, improved timing or ease of use may be found through reduction of warm up time for heating elements within irons or assembly of iron boards.

摘要: A water filtering system having its components contained within a single housing. The filter system uses a first filter pair of filters which can be first manually isolated from the water flow; and a second pair of filters which can also be manually isolated from the water flow. The two pairs of filters operate in parallel, thereby allowing one pair to be isolated for cleaning/repair without having to curtail operation since the other pair of filters remain operational.

摘要: Computer-based method and system are disclosed for interpreting dips, dip trends, and mineral based lithofacies data to identify certain geological events in a subsurface formation. The disclosed method/system analyzes dip magnitude and azimuth data to determine the dip trends in the formation. The dip trends are then examined for indications of the presence of certain depositional events, such as build-ups, flow directions instances of scour and fill, direction to thalweg, parallel bedding, indications of fault, and the like. If lithofacies data is available the disclosed method/system can also analyze this data to identify the presence of interbedded sequences and condensed sections. Such an integrated solution saves geoscientists and interpreters an enormous amount of time compared to existing interpretation techniques, allowing them to be much more productive. The disclosed system/method may also be used to help train new and less experienced geoscientists and interpreters.

摘要: A liquid-cooled camera assembly that includes a camera for viewing the combustion process in an industrial gas turbine that further includes a tri-concentric tube assembly, and a window cap positioned at a first end of the tri-concentric tube assembly. The camera may be positioned adjacent to and behind the window cap. The tri-concentric tube assembly may form channels between the tubes that direct the flow of coolant to the camera from an inlet and from the camera to an outlet. The coolant may be water. The window cap may be cylindrical and may not exceed 1 inch (2.54 cm) in diameter. The window cap may be brazed quartz.

摘要: Techniques for preventing the loss of trace information being transmitted via trace infrastructure are disclosed. A data processing apparatus for processing instructions is provided. The data processing apparatus comprises: decode/issue logic operable to receive and decode an instruction to be processed by the data processing apparatus and to determine when to issue a decoded instructions for execution by execution logic; execution logic operable to execute the decoded instructions; interface logic selectively operable to receive trace information relating to the state of the data processing apparatus generated in response to execution of the decoded instructions for transmission to trace monitoring infrastructure; and throttle logic operable to predict whether issuing the decoded instruction to the execution logic for execution would be likely to cause the trace information to be transmitted to said trace monitoring infrastructure to exceed a capacity of said trace monitoring infrastructure and, if so, to prevent the decode/issue logic from issuing the decoded instruction to the execution logic. Accordingly, the throttle logic reviews each instruction to be executed and predicts whether issuing that instruction at that time will or is likely to cause the capacity to be exceeded. In the event that the throttle logic determines that the capacity is likely to be exceeded, the instruction is prevented from being issued to the execution logic which reduces the likelihood that any state information is lost.

摘要: A data processing apparatus and method are provided for executing a sequence of instructions including at least one multiple iteration instruction. The data processing apparatus comprises an instruction store for storing the sequence of instructions, and a processing unit for executing the sequence of instructions, the processing unit comprising at least a first processing path and a second processing path to enable at least two instructions of the sequence to be executed in parallel. When executing instructions in parallel, the first processing path executes an instruction which is earlier in the sequence than the instruction executing in the second processing path. The processing unit is operable when executing a multiple iteration instruction to allow a first iteration of the multiple iteration instruction to be executed in either the first processing path or the second processing path, but to cause all remaining iterations of the multiple iteration instruction to be executed in the first processing path. This provides a particularly efficient technique for executing the sequence of instructions.
