Abstract:
A stabilizer composition comprising an AB type polymer for use in increasing Open Time of aqueous coating compositions is disclosed. The stabilizers compositions are of utility in many aqueous compositions including paints, stains, varnishes, adhesives and inks. Of particular interest is the use of the stabilizer compositions for in increasing the Open Time of latex paints as well as alkyd emulsion paints.
Abstract:
The present subject matter relates to a one-component, silane-modified water-, solvent- and plasticizer-free parquet adhesive and also to the use thereof for gluing parquet, wooden floor coverings and wood-based material boards to all sub-floors which are used in interior fitment, even those which are problematic.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a method for depolymerization of a mixture comprising oligomeric cyclic ethers resulting from copolymerization of at least one tetrahydrofuran and at least one other cyclic ether to recover tetrahydrofuran monomer.
Abstract:
A dihydric phenol compound represented by the following formula (2), a phosgene compound, and an aliphatic tertiary amine are mixed together using a hydrophobic organic solvent to produce bischloroformate that is represented by the following formula (1) and has an average number of repeating units (n) of 1.99 or less. In the formulae (1) and (2), Ar is a divalent aromatic group.
Abstract:
A double ester composition prepared by a three-step process comprising the non-ordered steps of a homopolymerization, a transesterification, and a capping, wherein the ordered steps include a sequence of homopolymerization, capping, and transesterification, or a sequence of transesterification, homopolymerization, and capping. The ester is useful particularly as a biolubricant having a high level of renewable carbons, and may exhibit particularly desirable properties relating to pour point, thermo-oxidative stability, and viscometric behavior due to reduced or eliminated levels of unsaturation in the final double esters.
Abstract:
A composition of macrocyclic oligomer with at least one (meth)acrylate polymerizable group. A method includes preparing an activated precursor of an oligomer at pseudo high-dilution conditions. A method also includes preparing an activated precursor of an oligomer by reacting the precursor with an activated coupling agent, wherein the precursor is condensable and polymerizable.
Abstract:
The present invention provides a bifunctional phenylene ether oligomer compound having a thermosetting functional group at each terminal, an epoxy resin containing the above oligomer compound and a use thereof. That is, it provides a sealing epoxy resin composition for sealing an electric part, an epoxy resin composition for laminates, a laminate, a printed wiring board, a curable resin composition and a photosensitive resin composition. The resins and resin compositions of the present invention are used in electronics fields in which a low dielectric constant, a low dielectric loss tangent and high toughness are required and also used for various uses such as coating, bonding and molding.
Abstract:
A phospholipid derivative represented by the following formula (1): wherein [PG]k represents a residue of polyglycerin having a polymerization degree of k, wherein k is 2 to 50, R1CO and R2CO independently represent an acyl group having 8 to 22 carbon atoms, symbol “a” independently represents an integer of 0 to 5, symbol “b” independently represents 0 or 1, M represents hydrogen atom, an alkali metal atom, an ammonium, or an organic ammonium, and k1, k2, and k3 represent numbers satisfying the following conditions: 1≦k1≦(k+2)/2, 0≦k2, and k1+k2+k3=k+2. The phospholipid derivative is highly safe for living bodies and can be suitably utilized in drug delivery systems such as liposome, and the like.
Abstract:
Alkoxylated alkylphenols which have at least one long-chain alkyl radical having at least one tertiary or quaternary carbon atom are prepared and are used as fuel or lubricant additives in fuel and lubricant compositions.
