    摘要: A reinforcing body and a method for its manufacturing. The reinforcing body has at least one reinforcing bar. Each reinforcing bar has a core with a peripheral surface at which a rib structure with at least one rib and at least one depression is provided. The core is formed by at least one first fiber strand embedded in a core matrix. For creating the at least one rib at least one second fiber strand is embedded into a rib matrix, wherein the at least one second fiber strand and the rib matrix are separated by at least one depression in a direction parallel to a longitudinal center axis of the reinforcing bar, such that the at least one second fiber strand is separated into fiber strand sections. The at least one first and the at least one second fiber strand have fibers of different materials.

    摘要: Ultra-efficient composite truss structures and methods for manufacturing the same using low cost and high throughput winding processes are presented. The present disclosure describes combining the high structural efficiency of truss structures with the excellent mechanical properties of composite materials using processes that mitigate the high manufacturing costs typical of composite materials. The present disclosure further describes creating the members of the truss structure through continuous winding of either thermoset or thermoplastic matrix, fiber reinforced composite members around a central mandrel. The longitudinal chord members of the truss are held in position by the mandrel, and the web members are wrapped under the chord members, over them, or both. The web members are bonded to the chord members during manufacture to produce a single consolidated truss structure.

    摘要: A hybrid flexible pipe and method of manufacture having one or more web layers over a tubular core and a polymer layer over the web layers and tubular core. A flexible helical reinforcement layer having gaps between strips is wrapped on top of the polymer layer. A second flexible helical reinforcement layer having gaps between strips is helically wrapped around the first helical reinforcement layer in the opposite direction. A sheath layer is positioned as the outermost layer. A first flexible helical anti-extrusion layer having a first anti-extrusion strip can be helically wrapped around the first flexible helical reinforcement layer in substantially the same direction as the first flexible reinforcement layer and a second flexible helical anti-extrusion layer having a second anti-extrusion strip can be helically wrapped around the at least one second flexible helical reinforcement layer in substantially the same direction as the second flexible helical reinforcement layer.
