    摘要: A sheet feeder is provided that includes a housing, a feed tray having a loading surface, and a swingable opening cover including a sliding contact portion, extending in a direction perpendicular to a width direction of a sheet. The sliding contact portion is configured to slide in contact with a feed tray in a swing motion of the feed tray from a first position where the loading surface is directed downward above the housing to a second position where the loading surface is directed upward at an upstream side relative to the housing in a feeding direction. The sliding contact portion is disposed on at least one end of the opening cover in the width direction, and exposed to an outside of the sheet feeder when the feed tray is in the first position.

    摘要: According to one embodiment, a memory system includes a chip including a cell array and first and second caches configured to hold data read out from the cell array; an interface configured to manage a first and a second addresses; a controller configured to issue a readout request to the interface; and a buffer configured to hold the data from the chip. The interface transfers the data in the first cache to the buffer without reading out the data from the cell array if the readout address matches the first address, transfers the data in the second cache to the buffer without reading out the data from the cell array if the readout address matches the second address, and reads out the data from the cell array and transfers the data to the buffer if the readout address does not match either one of the first or second address.

    摘要: A battery pack and method of manufacturing same are provided. The battery pack can stabilize bending of a lead housed in a space defined by an external package. Leads 2, 3 of a battery element are bonded to a circuit board housed in a top cover 6. A holder 11 is mechanically fitted to the top cover 6, made of resin molded material and produced by injection molding, for example. The edge faces of ribs 12a, 12b, 12c formed on the holder 11 serve as planes which receive the circuit board 4 in the top cover 6. The top cover 6 and the holder 11 fitted to each other are turned 90°, and moved toward the opening in the edge face of the cell 1 while bending the leads 2, 3, which are bent along the contours of both the sidewalls and bottom surface of the holder 11 and housed in a space defined by the external package. The circumferential surface of the top cover 6 is bonded by heat to the inner surface of the external package.

The battery element is accommodated in a casing constituted by a laminate film so as to be sealed by welding. Electrode-terminal leads electrically conducted to electrodes which constitute the battery element are sandwiched by welded portions so as to be exposed to the outside portion of the casing. A control circuit of the battery is mounted on a welded portion of the casing. Since the control circuit of the battery is mounted on the welded portion of the casing, the space in the battery in which the battery element is not present can effectively be used. Therefore, the volume efficiency can considerably be improved.

    摘要: A displacement control valve included in a variable displacement compressor. The compressor includes a fluid passage for connecting a crank chamber to a discharge chamber. The control valve includes a valve chamber connected to the crank chamber through the fluid passage, a valve hole connected to the discharge chamber through the fluid passage, and a valve body located in the valve chamber. A bellows influences the valve body through a pressure sensitive rod in accordance with suction pressure. A solenoid includes a fixed iron core and a plunger arranged in a plunger chamber. The plunger urges the valve body through a solenoid rod by a force determined by the level of electric current supplied to the solenoid. The fixed iron core, which is located between the valve chamber and the plunger chamber, includes a guide hole for receiving the solenoid rod. An annular passage for connecting the valve chamber to the plunger chamber is formed between the guide hole and the solenoid rod. Accordingly, the pressure of the crank chamber is applied to the plunger chamber through the valve chamber and the annular passage. In this control valve, the valve body has desirable operating characteristics without relying on parts having precise dimensions.
