    摘要: A pouch for holding fluids is provided. The pouch includes a pouch body having a front panel and a back panel. The front panel is formed of a transparent material and includes a second indicia visible from the front of the pouch. The back panel includes a third indicia visible from the back of the pouch. The back panel includes a first indicia disposed one of the layers of the back panel and configured to be visible when the pouch is viewed from the front so as to block out the third indicia from view. A method of manufacturing a pouch is also provided. The method is directed towards facilitating the alignment of a graphical image on one side of the back panel with a graphical image on another side of the back panels in instances where the back panel is formed of multiple layers.

    摘要: A method of manufacturing a gusseted pinch bag from polypropylene. A sheet or seamless tube of polypropylene is provided. The sheet is preferably comprised of one or more layers of axially and/or biaxially oriented polypropylene. Perforation lines in a pinch pattern are formed in the sheet or tube. Preferably a laser forms a series of small, closely spaced holes in the sheet along the perforation line. The laser heats the plastic surrounding the holes, causing the polypropylene molecules between the holes to lose their orientation. Thus, the polypropylene in the perforation line between the holes is substantially weakened. If a sheet is used, it is folded into a gusseted tube and the edges are sealed together to make a tube. If a seamless tube is used, the tube is gusseted. In either case, a lateral force is then applied to the terminal tube, breaking the perforation line and separating the terminal tube from the sheet. The bottom end of the tube is then sealed, thereby forming a bag.

    摘要: A method for producing a package made of a flexible material, in which a single flexible material web is folded longitudinally, and superposed layers of the folded material web are firmly bonded to one another. At least one section of the material web is constructed as a tubular piece, and individual gusset edges of the material web are at least partly cut. Tubular pieces of a predetermined length are cut from the material web, in the area of at least one opening of the tubular piece. The outer layers are turned over, and layers of the material located therebetween are shortened. A sealing element is applied to the ends of the shortened layers and brought in contact with one of the outer layers. The shortened ends are closed after re-turning the outer layers, and fixed to a respective outer layer. Predefined regions of superposed layers of the tubular piece are then firmly bonded to one another.

    摘要: The invention relates to an improved system for gluing the bottoms of bags. The inventive system comprises a block which is used to glue the bottom-forming flaps and which is equipped with a relief. The relief is formed by a series of parallel rows which are disposed longitudinally in the direction of rotation of the gluing roller and which determine the same number of ridges as rows, having corresponding grooves therebetween. In this way, only the ridges are impregnated when adhesive is spread on the block, such that parallel lines of glue are applied to the flaps. In addition, the same block is used to glue a reinforcing strip to the bottom of the bag that has been formed by folding and gluing the above-mentioned flaps, such that the glue is applied in parallel lines. The glue-applicator points, which are used to apply dots of glue between the bag-forming sheets, are equipped with an improved application face which prevents the build-up of glue on the walls of the glue-applicator point.
