摘要: To provide a method for producing a fluorinated polymer which does not require an emulsifier as an essential component while an aqueous medium with little environmental burden is used. A method for producing a fluorinated polymer, which comprises polymerizing at least one fluorinated polymer selected from tetrafluoroethylene, chlorotrifluoroethylene and vinylidene fluoride, in an aqueous medium in the presence of a specific polymer having at least one type of units selected from units based on a compound represented by the formula (1) and units based on a compound represented by the formula (2) to produce a fluorinated polymer (provided that when tetrafluoroethylene is polymerized, tetrafluoroethylene is polymerized so that the content of units based on tetrafluoroethylene in the fluorinated polymer becomes less than 99 mass % to all units in the fluorinated polymer):

摘要: The invention relates to novel linear, semi-crystalline fluoropolymers containing 0.5 to 25 mole percent of at least one vinyl ester monomer unit. At least 40 mole percent of the vinyl ester monomer units are present in the copolymer as single monomer units (not diads or triads or greater) between two fluoromonomer units. The invention also relates to a process for forming the fluoromonomers/vinyl ester copolymer. The fluoropolymer of the invention may be used in applications benefiting from a functional fluoropolymers including as a binder or coating in batteries, or for use in forming hydrophilic membranes and hollow fibers.

摘要: The present invention aims to provide a method of producing a fluoropolymer, especially a fluoropolymer essentially including a tetrafluoroethylene or chlorotrifluoroethylene unit, at a higher polymerization rate with improved efficiency, the method being capable of improving the moldability in extrusion molding and suppressing discoloration. The method of producing a fluoropolymer of the present invention includes producing a fluoropolymer by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene or chlorotrifluoroethylene in the presence of a peroxydicarbonate. The peroxydicarbonate is represented by the formula: R—O—C(═O)—O—O—C(═O)—O—R wherein R's may be the same as or different from each other and individually represent a C4 alkyl group or alkoxy alkyl group.

摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a fluoropolymer which produces a large number of particles with a small particle size using a specific non-fluorous compound having surfactant ability. The method for producing a fluoropolymer includes aqueous dispersion polymerization of a monomer including at least one fluoroolefin in the presence of a compound (1) represented by the formula: CH2═CR1—R2—O-(AO)p—X (in the formula, R1 is hydrogen or an alkyl group; R2 is an alkylene group having two or more carbon atoms; AO is a linear or branched oxyalkylene group having 2 to 4 carbon atoms; p is a positive integer; X is H or SO3Y wherein Y is NH4 or an alkaline metal; and AO may be the same or different and may form two or more blocks if there is more than one AO.)
