    Abstract: Provided is a tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer which is less likely to form a lump, or is less likely to form a large lump even if a lump is formed, during the formation of an electric wire. The tetrafluoroethylene/hexafluoropropylene copolymer has a melt flow rate measured at 372° C. of 35.0 to 45.0 g/10 minutes and a swell of −8.0% to 5.0%, the sum of the numbers of —CF2H groups and unstable end groups being 120 or less per 1×106 carbon atoms.

    Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for recovering a fluorine-containing ether capable of recovering a fluorine-containing ether used for producing a fluoropolymer, in higher recovery yield and in a shorter time. The present invention relates to a method for recovering a fluorine-containing ether, including the steps of: producing a wet fluoropolymer by suspension polymerization, solution polymerization, or bulk polymerization in the presence of at least a specific fluorine-containing ether; vaporizing and discharging vaporizable substances including the fluorine-containing ether by heating the wet fluoropolymer in a container; and transferring the vaporizable substances in the vaporized state to a cooling means to cool the vaporizable substances.

    Abstract: The present invention aims to provide a method of producing a fluoropolymer, especially a fluoropolymer essentially including a tetrafluoroethylene or chlorotrifluoroethylene unit, at a higher polymerization rate with improved efficiency, the method being capable of improving the moldability in extrusion molding and suppressing discoloration. The method of producing a fluoropolymer of the present invention includes producing a fluoropolymer by polymerizing tetrafluoroethylene or chlorotrifluoroethylene in the presence of a peroxydicarbonate. The peroxydicarbonate is represented by the formula: R—O—C(═O)—O—O—C(═O)—O—R wherein R's may be the same as or different from each other and individually represent a C4 alkyl group or alkoxy alkyl group.
