    摘要: A compact scroll fluid device includes a pair of wrap support elements with one of the wrap support elements having an inner axial surface formed with an involute spiral recess and the other of the wrap support elements having an involute spiral wrap member projecting from an inner axial surface thereof. The spiral wrap member is received within the spiral recess while being relatively movable about an orbital path therein. A synchronizer assembly is provided axially between the wrap support elements, radially inwardly of both inlet and outlet zones associated with the scroll fluid device and radially outwardly of an orbit center of the device. The entire scroll fluid device is preferably made of plastic. With this arrangement, an extremely compact and inexpensive device is provided.

    摘要: A scroll type machine is disclosed which incorporates an improved mounting arrangement for the non-orbiting scroll member which mounting arrangement greatly facilitates manufacturing and assembly, effectively prevents radial displacement of the non-orbiting scroll member, and offers the advantages of axial compliance. In one embodiment, the non-orbiting scroll is axially movably secured to a bearing housing by means of a plurality of bolts or bolts and sleeves. In another embodiment a rigid annular ring serves to axially movably secure the non-orbiting scroll to the bearing housing while in a third embodiment a stamped ring is secured to both the non-orbiting scroll and the bearing housing. In another embodiment a two piece main bearing housing includes an integral ring for radially positioning the non-orbiting scroll member and means for securing anti-rotation and axial stop means thereto. In yet another embodiment, a bayonet-type axially compliant mounting arrangement is provided for the non-orbiting scroll which provides integral stop means. Additionally, notches may be provided to isolate the mounting flanges of the two piece main bearing from the integral guide ring to avoid possible distortion thereof. A method of assembling and/or testing the compressor is also disclosed.

A flat on the crank pin drivingly engages a flat in the bore, one flat being at an acute angle to the normal cranksahft axis so that when the crankshaft deflects under normal loads the flats come into better contact with one another to reduce unwanted wear.     摘要: A rotation preventing/thrust bearing device for a scroll type fluid displacement apparatus is disclosed. The rotation preventing/thrust bearing device includes a fixed portion, an orbital portion and balls. The fixed and orbital portions each include an annular race and a ring which covers the end surface of the race. Both rings have a plurality of holes or pockets in an axial direction. The balls are placed between the facing holes in the ring, and are in contact with both races to carry the thrust load from the orbiting scroll member. All balls are rotatably held on a retainer which is disposed in an axial clearance between the facing rings.
