摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a pitch assembly for coupling a rotor blade to a hub of a wind turbine. In one embodiment, the pitch assembly includes a first pitch bearing having a first outer race and a first inner race rotatable relative to the first outer race via a first set of rolling elements, a second pitch bearing having a second outer race and a second inner race rotatable relative to the second outer race via a second set of rolling elements, and at least one spacer configured axially between and contacting the first and second pitch bearings. Further, at least a portion of the first pitch bearing and at least a portion of the second pitch bearing are axially aligned between the rotatable hub and the rotor blade in a generally span-wise direction.

The secondary shafts are in turn rotationally coupled to at least one, preferably two, electric generators.

摘要: A blade pitch arrangement of a wind turbine is provided having a number of blade shafts extending radially outward from a hub and a rotor blade mounted around each blade shaft, which blade pitch arrangement includes a toothed ring arranged at the root end of each rotor blade; and a pitch drive unit for each rotor blade, having a driver body and a pinion realized to engage with the toothed ring of a rotor blade; wherein a pitch drive unit is arranged relative to its corresponding rotor blade such that the pinion is positioned closest to the hub, and the driver body extends in a direction radially outward from the hub. A wind turbine is also described.

摘要: A windmill for generating electricity is described, which contains several improvements that enable the blades of the windmill to be much wider than conventional electricity-generating windmill blades. The rotor containing the blades will also change direction to capture the largest amount of wind energy available. The windmill includes a “shroud” surrounding the blades, which increases the wind velocity through the blades. Support structures for the windmill are described, and also a method of using the windmill to store electricity to use later is shown. The windmill is more stable than conventional windmills. A method of using a windmill to generate electricity is also described.

摘要: The present invention relates to an installation tool for assembling a main rotor shaft unit and an assembly method thereof. The installation tool comprises a first element for supporting the generator end of the rotor shaft and a rotatable support plate is coupled to a second element of the installation tool via engaging coupling elements. The rotor shaft is rotated by a single crane unit via lifting elements mounted to the generator end, and then lifted out of the installation tool and placed on a floor. The bearing units are then mounted to the outer surface of the rotor shaft. The rotor shaft is afterwards lifted onto the installation tool so that the coupling element is brought into engagement and the rotor shaft is rotated on to the first element. This provides an installation tool that eliminates the need for two crane units to rotate the rotor shaft and reduces the amount of man-hours needed to assemble the rotor shaft unit by up to six hours. The installation tool also provides a stable tool for the workers since the center of gravity is located between the first element and the rotation point.

The windmill includes a hub serving as a rotation center, plurality of spokes extending radially therefrom, an approximately annular limb connecting outer ends of the plurality of spokes, and plurality of sailcloth pieces, each sailcloth piece being approximately triangular in shape, one side of each sailcloth piece left as a free end 24a not supported by any of the spokes and the limb. A ratio S2/S1 is 0.9 or more. S1 is a cross-sectional area of the wind tunnel passage. S2 is a wind catching area of the plurality of sailcloth pieces.

摘要: A double-row spherical roller bearing, comprising an outer ring including at least one spherical inner raceway on a radially inner peripheral surface, an inner ring including a first and second axial end and at least one outer raceway on a radially outer peripheral surface. Spherical roller elements are located in first and second roller rows interposed in-between the inner and outer raceways. A first flange is located at the first axial end, extending in a circumferential direction of the outer peripheral surface. The inner ring is subjected to an axial load in a first axial direction wherein the first flange approaches the first roller row. An axial extension of the first flange extends without contacting any first roller row roller elements during bearing operation, when an axial load is acting on the inner ring in the first axial direction. The bearing can be integrated into a wind turbine.
