    摘要: A method for operating a motor vehicle with an automated gearbox (1), which can be connected, via a clutch (2), to a prime mover (3). The output rotational speed of the gearbox (1) is detected by sensors and evaluated for plausibility by comparison with an arithmetic mean value of sensor-detected rotational speeds of the rear wheels (7, 8) of the motor vehicle. It is also possible to determine plausibility, using the arithmetic mean of the sensor-detected rotational speeds of the front wheels (9, 10), in case of a failure of at least one of both generated signals (20, 21) of the rotational speed sensors (18, 19) of the rear wheels (7, 8) for checking the plausibility of the output rotational speed of the gearbox (1).

    摘要: A method is for making a diagnosis as to signal plausibility in a speed sensor of a motor vehicle. In the method, the speed sensor outputs a pulse sequence to an evaluation circuit in dependence upon the speed of the vehicle and, in a steady-state operating condition of the motor vehicle, a ratio is formed between the determined speed and an engine rpm and the ratio is averaged over a pregiven time. A plausibility is determined only when the formed mean value lies in a value range permissible for the steady-state operating condition.

    摘要: An automatic transmission control system having a fail-safe function includes an automatic transmission control unit which prestores a normal state of ON-OFF settings of engaging elements and actually detects an actual state of ON-OFF positions (engagements and disengagements) of the engaging elements. The automatic transmission control unit has a comparator capable of comparing the normal state of ON-OFF settings with the actual state of ON-OFF positions of the engaging elements, and determines that a hydraulic system failure occurs when the normal state and the actual state disagree with each other. The automatic transmission control unit has a fail-safe mode engagement-disengagement command section provided for selecting a specified gear mode based on the actual state and for outputting a command to an actuator for the engaging elements, so that the transmission is shifted to the specified gear mode which is preprogrammed to be suitable for the actual state, only when the automatic transmission control unit determines that the hydraulic system failure occurs.

    摘要: A method of controlling a continuously variable transmission for a vehicle. The continuously variable transmission has a hydrostat with a position-regulating valve and is designed to co-operate in driving connection with a drive input shaft and a drive output shaft such that when the position-regulating valve is energized, the hydrostat is adjusted to accelerate the vehicle. The method includes monitoring the energization of the position-regulating valve cyclically by a safety function. The safety function is provided in order to recognize undesired energization of the position-regulating valve that leads to unwanted acceleration of the vehicle, and then to separate the transmission at least from the drive output shaft so as to prevent unwanted acceleration of the vehicle. The safety function is triggered at least when a limit value for the energization of the position-regulating valve is exceeded.
