    摘要: A positioning device of a position sensor that does not require re-positioning and re-fastening at the time of mounting the position sensor. A positioning tool provided with a driving section and a positioning section is mounted on a position sensor. Then, positioning projections of the positioning section are engaged with neutral position grooves. In this state, the positioning section is rotated by the driving section so as to have the position sensor rotated together until the R-contact turns ON, so that an angle from N to R, i.e. from a neutral position to a reverse contact ON position is measured. Thereafter, the positioning section is rotated in an opposite direction to measure an angle from N to D, i.e. from a reverse contact OFF position to a drive contact ON position. Based on the measurement result, the positioning section is re-rotated by the driving section to move the position sensor to a proper neutral position. The position sensor is fastened in this condition.

    摘要: A process for learning the pressure and volume characteristics for a given torque-transmitting mechanism is established on the final assembly line wherein a powertrain incorporating the desired transmission learning is installed within a vehicle. During the test process, the vehicle speed is generally maintained at Idle and the vehicle shift mechanism is maintained in Park, thereby mechanically locking the transmission output shaft. The torque-transmitting mechanisms to be learned are then engaged and disengaged in a predetermined sequence and the volume of the torque-transmitting mechanisms and the pressure characteristics of the controlling solenoid are learned.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides a method for an intelligent quick bed-in of an automatic transmission comprising the steps of operating the vehicle according to a predetermined protocol so that the powertrain controller can learn about powertrain variations and adapt operation of the transmission; obtaining feedback information regarding operator performance of the method and vehicle performance during the method; determining whether the bed-in method was successful by the level of run-up or tie-up, by whether the powertrain controller was allowed to adapt, or by the level of powertrain controller adaptation; and completing the bedding-in process. The method being capable of reducing the time required for a bedding-in process, while improving the reliability of the bedding-in process.

    摘要: A transmission apparatus mounted on a vehicle has a front-wheel speed sensor for sensing a rotation speed of a front wheel. A control unit has a ratio-change correction part that determines a correction in transmission control of the transmission apparatus using the rotation speed of the front wheel sensed by a front-wheel speed sensor. The control unit limits execution of the correction under a condition that an external device is connected to a connector. Thereby, the execution of the correction based on the rotation speed of the front wheel without a worker's intention during driving on a chassis dynamo may be suppressed.

    摘要: Featured is are methods and systems for bedding-in an automatic transmission of a vehicle prior to delivery of the vehicle to an end customer. Such a bedding-in method is performed so as to reduce the occurrence of shifting problems or concerns occurring during the initial stages of ownership of the vehicle. More particularly, such a bedding-in method includes providing an automatic transmission having a controller that is configured to measure and learn about powertrain variation(s) and configured to adapt one or more operational parameters associated with shifting of the automatic transmission. Such a method also includes operating the vehicle according to a predetermined protocol before the vehicle reaches an end customer. Such a protocol being established so the transmission controller can learn about powertrain variations and adapt operation of the transmission to minimize effects on shifting of the transmission.
