    摘要: In a gear-type change-speed transmission with synchronized reverse speed, the corresponding pair of gears consists of a loose gear which is adapted to be clutched with the driving shaft and of a fixed gear of the output shaft; an intermediate gear is adapted to be engaged between the loose gear and the fixed gear by means of a pivot lever; the intermediate gear meshes constantly with the loose gear, is brought in a first shifting phase into engagement with the fixed gear over a small partial area of its tooth width load-free and during the further engagement of the reverse speed is engaged into the fixed gear over its full tooth width. Only thereafter the loose gear is coupled torque-transmittingly with the input shaft.

    摘要: A multiple speed ratio transmission includes constantly meshed gears defining a plurality of forward speed ratios, a reverse idler gear slidable into meshing relationship with the constantly meshed gears to define a reverse speed ratio, control means including a selector and an interlock for selecting and engaging the gear ratios, and an anti-clash brake mechanism for retarding rotation of the constantly meshed gears prior to engagement of the reverse idler gear therewith. The brake mechanism includes a friction ring on one of the constantly meshed gears, and an arm extending from the interlock for blocking rotation of the friction ring when the selector is moved so as to select the reverse speed ratio.

    摘要: A locking device for a motor vehicle transmission which includes a friction ring brought into frictional engagement with a gear wheel when engaging a reverse gear. The friction ring cooperates with a dog which is spring-loaded in an axial direction. The dog selectively displaces locking elements into a locking position for preventing engagement of the gear wheel. The friction ring is disposed non-rotatably and slidably on a driven shaft of the transmission between the gear wheel and the dog with the gear wheel being freely rotatable with respect to the driven shaft and adapted to be coupled to the driven shaft. The dog is disposed coaxially with respect to the driven shaft on integral portions of the transmission housing.

    摘要: The gear members of the non-synchronized gear unit of the gearbox are engaged by a gear selecting and engaging device which also drives a sliding member which is adapted to shift a lever. The lever has a braking surface which is engageable with the input shaft of the gearbox to brake the input shaft. When the gear members are in process of being brought into mutual engagement by the selecting and engaging device, the latter shifts the sliding member to an intermediate position in which the sliding member puts the lever in a position in which the braking surface engages and brakes the input shaft before the gear members have contacted each other. The selecting and engaging device, in continuing its action, finally puts the two gear members in mutual engagement and at the same time puts the intermediate member in a position in which it puts the lever in the position for disengaging the braking surface from the input shaft. In this way, upon engagement of the non-synchronized gear unit teeth noise is avoided.

    摘要: A multi-stage gear shift transmission comprising a plurality of forward stage gear trains capable of being alternatively established, and a reverse stage gear train having an idle gear portion meshed with a reverse input gear and a reverse output gear. The forward stage and reverse stage gear trains are provided between an input shaft and an output shaft parallel to the inut shaft. A reverse stage establishing clutch mechanism is interposed in the middle of the reverse stage gear train. The idle gear portion is divided into a first idle gear meshed with the reverse input gear, and a second idle gear meshed with the reverse output gear and capable of being connected to the first idle gear through the reverse stage establishing clutch mechanism. The reverse stage establishing clutch mechanism comprises a sleeve which is engaged with the first idle gear for relative non-rotation and for axial relative movement and which is capable of being meshed with the second idle gear, a braking member which is disposed between the first and second idle gears for axial movement so that it may be urged toward the second idle gear in response to the movement of the sleeve toward the second idle gear and which is capable of being rotated in unison with the first idle gear, and a stationary part fixedly disposed to temporarily frictionally engage with the braking member when the braking member is moved toward the second idle gear.
