    摘要: Systems, methods, and computer readable media for auto-recovery of an augmented reality (AR) wearable device are disclosed. A pass-through application is invoked as a background process and an application is invoked as a foreground process. The pass-through application includes an on-resume procedure that is called if the operating system or interpreter determines that the foreground process is unresponsive. The on-resume procedure restarts the application as the foreground process and may first reboot the AR wearable device. The pass-through application remains transparent to the user by not displaying output on the display of the AR wearable device. Additionally, an uncaught exception handler is registered with the operating system to be called in the event that an exception occurs that does not have a handler. The exception handler restarts the application as the foreground process and may first reboot the AR wearable device.

    摘要: Video samples from a camera or cameras of a mobile device are sent as analog levels to a system-on-chip (SoC) or other processor of the device. The analog levels are the analog video samples or be an encoded form of the video samples. The samples are converted to digital and interpolated within the SoC to produce digital RGB samples suitable for display. Or, the analog video samples are interpolated within the SoC using analog processing to produce analog RGB samples. Or, only the G samples are transmitted to the SoC, and processed using analog processing. After processing within the SoC, the samples are sent as analog levels or in encoded form to a corresponding receiver of a display integrated with column drivers. Digital functionality of the DDIC of the display is moved into the SoC or into circuitry separate from, and connected to, the SoC via an MIPI DSI interface.

    摘要: A user interface for a health management platform is described that includes a virtual sidekick configured to assist a patient in managing a chronic health condition. The virtual sidekick may represent an individual (not necessarily the patient) that is facing similar challenges as the patient such as the same chronic health condition as the patient. In some embodiments, the virtual sidekick can be presented in a virtual scene that includes one or more reverse augmented realty elements that are indicative of a physical context of the patient. For example, the virtual scene may depict visual elements indicative of the patient's physical location and/or weather conditions at the patient's physical location. Data used to personalize and dynamically animate the virtual sidekick to assist the patient in managing a chronic health condition can come from multiple different sources.
