    摘要: A heated satellite dish for reducing snow and ice accumulation on a satellite dish is disclosed. The heated satellite dish includes a heating system which may include a front pad attached to a flexible rear pad, the heating system disposed between the flexible front pad and the flexible rear pad, and a securing system comprising magnets. The satellite dish heater conforms to a rear surface of a satellite dish and the magnets selectively and detachably secure the satellite dish heater against the rear surface of the satellite dish. The heating system transfers heat to the rear surface of the satellite dish to reduce snow and ice accumulation.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a radome-reflector assembly for, e.g., a microwave antenna, has (i) two semi-circular rims that receive the peripheries of the radome and the reflector and (ii) fixed and adjustable clamps that secure the ends of the rims together. The rims are designed with slanted inner surfaces that engage the periphery of the reflector, such that, when the adjustable clamp is tightened circumferentially, the periphery of the reflector is forced laterally to abut other rim structure to form a metal-to-metal RF seal between the reflector and the rims. Certain assemblies with low profiles and low circumferential forces can be assembled without special tooling using plastic clamps and still achieve good RF seals.

    摘要: A reflector antenna for synthetic aperture radar, having a reflector including a reflector surface, a vertex, and an optical axis. The reflector antenna also as a plurality of antenna elements arranged side by side and in a row, for transmitting radar transmission signals and receiving radar reception signals produced from a reflection on a surface. The reflector is designed as a one-dimensional defocused reflector having two focal planes. The optical axis coincides with the line of inter-section of two imaginary planes extending at right angles to one another. The reflector has, in a first (X-) plane, a first (X-) focal plane that extends at right angles thereto and to the optical axis, and, in a second (Y-) plane, a second (Y-) focal plane which extends at right angles thereto and to the optical axis. The second (Y-) focal plane is at a greater distance from the vertex than the first (X-) focal plane.

    摘要: A compact antenna that includes a power feeding waveguide, a sub reflection mirror, and a main reflection mirror. Radio waves comprised of a vertical polarized wave and a horizontal polarized wave are transmitted to the power feeding waveguide. The sub reflection mirror is disposed to face an opening of the power feeding waveguide and reflects the radio wave radiated from the opening. The main reflection mirror is disposed to face the sub reflection mirror and outwardly radiates the radio wave reflected by the sub reflection mirror. A front surface of the main reflection mirror has a shape formed by rotating a line reaching one side and the other side of a predetermined parabola curve at least once, around a rotational axis. A front surface of the sub reflection mirror has a shape formed by rotating either one of a stepped line and a wavy line around the rotational axis.

    摘要: Various embodiments of antenna assemblies are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, the antenna assembly includes a reflector comprising a center opening, a feed-antenna subassembly situated in front of the reflector, a rear housing situated behind the reflector, and a pole-mounting bracket comprising a base plate situated between the reflector and the rear housing. The feed-antenna subassembly comprises a feed tube that houses at least one of: a transmitter circuit and a receiver circuit. The rear housing is coupled to a front side of the reflector via the center opening. The rear housing comprises a center cavity, and a back end of the feed tube is inserted in and coupled to the center cavity. The base plate is coupled to the reflector and the rear housing in such a way that decoupling between the base plate and the reflector requires a prior decoupling between the feed-antenna subassembly and the rear housing and a prior decoupling between the rear housing and the reflector.
