摘要: The present invention relates to electric drivetrain kits for converting all-terrain vehicles into hybrid or electric vehicles. In exemplary embodiments, a conversion kit replaces an existing standard single motor and transmission drive system with a dual set-up including a motor for each rear wheel and a split transmission that houses two sets of gear reduction components in a single housing or an all-wheel configuration with two transmission sets (front and rear). Dual output shafts in each transmission set drive the wheels independently to provide the torque needed as required and demanded by each wheel. System electronics send signals to the motors and other components to manage the system and independently control each wheel.

摘要: An autonomous work vehicle having a chassis, a power system disposed on the chassis, a field wheel system coupled to the chassis and the power system, and a hitch assembly. The power system is configured to power the autonomous work vehicle in an autonomous control mode. The field wheel system is configured to drive the autonomous work vehicle in a field in the autonomous control mode. The hitch assembly is configured to couple to a lead vehicle in a transport mode. The autonomous work vehicle may engage wheels of a transportation wheel system with a road to support the autonomous work vehicle on the road. The autonomous work vehicle may be coupled via the hitch assembly to the lead vehicle, then transported on a road. A brake system of the transportation wheel system may be coupled to the lead vehicle.

摘要: A drive system with one or more electrically driven axles, a transmission subsystem, which is drivingly coupled to a drive gearbox of each of the electrically driven axles, first and second motors, which are each drivingly coupled to the transmission subsystem and have different motor characteristics, and a controller. The drive gearbox of each axle transmits rotary power to an associated set of vehicle wheels. The controller controls the first and second motors responsive to at least a torque request. Over a significant portion of the operating range of the drive system, the controller is configured to vary the respective magnitudes of the rotary power provided by the first and second motors to satisfy the torque request in a manner that maximizes a combined efficiency of the motors in a predetermined manner.

摘要: An unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) autonomously perching on a curved surface from a starting position is provided. The UAV includes: a 3D depth camera configured to capture and output 3D point clouds of scenes from the UAV including the curved surface; a 2D LIDAR system configured to capture and output 2D slices of the scenes; and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to: control the depth camera and the LIDAR system to capture the 3D point clouds and the 2D slices, respectively, of the scenes; input the captured 3D point clouds from the depth camera and the captured 2D slices from the LIDAR system; autonomously detect and localize the curved surface using the captured 3D point clouds and 2D slices; and autonomously direct the UAV from the starting position to a landing position on the curved surface based on the autonomous detection and localization of the curved surface.

摘要: A system for selectively locking two coaxial axle shafts of an electric axle is provided. The system includes a first electric motor having a first rotor shaft configured to drive a first axle shaft. The system also includes a second electric motor having a second rotor shaft configured to drive a second axle shaft coaxial with the first axle shaft. An actuator is configured to selectively activate to operate in a safety mode. When operated to assume the safety mode, the actuator causes the first rotor shaft to lock to the second rotor shaft, such that the two shafts rotate in unison. This allows one of the two motors to drive both axle shafts in the event of a fault in one of the motors.
