摘要: A fuel fill pocket mounting system includes a mounting bracket having an inboard surface and an outboard surface. The outboard surface is bonded to an interior surface of a sheet molded composite body panel. A filler housing is attached to the inboard surface of the mounting bracket. The filler housing includes a wall defining an interior space. A snap in bezel is attached to the filler housing within the interior space. The bezel includes an outer lip disposed against the wall of the filler housing. The bezel includes a rubber material in sealing engagement with a fuel inlet pipe to limit fuel leakage between the bezel and the fuel inlet pipe.

摘要: An electrical outlet assembly for a vehicle is provided. The electrical outlet assembly includes a panel and an electrical receptacle. The panel includes a sidewall and a bottom wall that extends from the sidewall, and is coupleable to a vehicle panel of the vehicle to define an interior cavity therewith. The electrical receptacle is coupled within a receptacle opening defined in the sidewall. The sidewall defines a first drain opening beneath the electrical receptacle, and the bottom wall at least partially defines a second drain opening, each of the first and second drain openings providing fluid communication with the interior cavity. The panel is configured to direct fluid that enters the interior cavity through the first drain opening out of the second drain opening and away from the electrical receptacle.

摘要: An air and water management system for a motor vehicle is disclosed. The system includes an air opening allowing air to enter the engine room on a side of the motor vehicle, an engine cover covering at least one component associated with the engine of the motor vehicle, a rib extending from a top side of the engine cover creating a gutter on the engine cover between the rib and a side of the engine room, a water channel formed integrally in the engine cover adjacent and laterally inward of and parallel to the rib and including a drain longitudinally to the rear of the motor vehicle at a rearward portion of the water channel. Air entering the air opening flows over the rib and into the engine room of the motor vehicle. The rib blocks debris that enters the air opening from flowing into the engine room.

摘要: A one-way drain hole plug that affords for easy, quick, and proper installation into a panel having drain hole. The one-way drain hole plug includes a seal portion made from a first material and a hollow bulb portion made from a second material that is harder and/or stronger than the first material. The hardness or strength of the second material prevents the hollow bulb portion and the base attached thereto from collapsing during installation of the one-way drain hole plug into the drain hole. However, the first material is soft or pliable enough to allow sufficient deformation of the drain hole insert as it is pushed through the drain hole and provide a liquid-tight fit with the panel.

摘要: A vehicle includes front wheels, rear wheels, a vehicle body, and closure mechanisms. The vehicle body has vehicle-body side surfaces each provided with an airflow passage. The airflow passage is located in a lower portion of the vehicle-body side surface. The lower portion is located between a corresponding one of the front wheels and a corresponding one of the rear wheels. The airflow passage extends from an underfloor space located below the vehicle body, to the vehicle-body side surface. The closure mechanisms are each configured to close the airflow passage of a corresponding one of the vehicle-body side surfaces that receives a crosswind while the vehicle is in motion. An extending direction of the airflow passage extending from the underfloor space toward the vehicle-body side surface is inclined toward a rear of the vehicle.

摘要: A trunk panel comprises a bottom portion, a first standing wall portion, and a second standing wall portion. A protrusion portion is provided at a rear end portion of the bottom portion and the second standing wall portion to protrude upward. This protrusion portion is spaced apart from the first standing wall portion such that a passage is formed between the protrusion portion and the first standing wall portion, wherein the passage is configured to allow water to flow down from a portion of the bottom portion which is located forward of the protrusion portion toward a rear end portion of the bottom portion and the second standing wall portion. Thereby, any bad influences of rainwater or the like, which may be brought to various kinds of members around or arranged below a rear lamp, can be properly restrained.
