    摘要: In order to adequately suppress both an increase in NOx emission amount and deterioration of fuel consumption rate, the present invention provides a fuel injection control information generation device equipped with: a test point information storage unit for holding test point information including a plurality of test points constituted by sets of engine speed, fuel injection amount, and oxygen concentration; and a control information generation unit for generating, for each test point included in the test point information, fuel injection control information in which the engine speed, fuel injection amount, and oxygen concentration of the test point are associated with an optimum fuel injection timing at which an index pertaining to the total of a fuel consumption rate and an NOx emission amount in the test point becomes the smallest.

    摘要: The control apparatus for an engine includes: a first controller that sets a valve-opening timing of an intake valve of the engine in response to an amount of intake air; and a second controller that sets an injection start time of a fuel injector of the engine in response to the amount of intake air. In a case where the amount of intake air is within a first range being equal to or more than a predetermined value, the first controller advances the valve-opening timing as compared with a case where the amount of intake air is equal to the predetermined value, and the second controller delays the injection start time as compared with a case where the amount of intake air is within a second range being less than the predetermined value.

    摘要: A method for measuring the flow rate MAF of cool air entering an intake manifold of a two-stroke engine, the intake manifold being located between a throttle body and an intake system. The method uses a specific prediction model depending on whether the two-stroke engine is subject, on the one hand, to a light load and, on the other hand, to a medium or heavy load. The model suitable for the load is selected using a predetermined threshold and two absolute pressure measurements taken at the intake manifold at crankshaft angles of rotation around top dead center and bottom dead center. Next, a pressure quotient is formed for each model which will be used to deduce the flow rate of cool air entering the intake manifold.

    摘要: Disclosed is a procedure to minimize NOx during varying engine loads in a 4-stroke diesel engine including at least one cylinder with a cylinder head, first piston on a connecting rod, one actuator mounted on the cylinder head and one of the actuator operated second piston lockable via a hydraulic circuit in various positions in a combustion chamber. The second piston, at the latest during the current compression stroke is actuated by the actuator and locked in the combustion chamber, where it by the first piston introduced air is compressed in a predetermined compression ratio to meet an existing engine load wherein the free operated inlet valve is brought to close the inlet stroke at a piston position where the volume of the combustion air as introduced at the end of the compression stroke gives the predetermined compression ratio and that the injector injects the stated amount of fuel.

    摘要: A friction loss management system for an engine, comprises a combustion engine comprising a crankshaft and a plurality of cylinders, a reciprocating piston assembly connected to the crankshaft, a fuel injector connected to an injection controller, an intake valve connected to an intake valve controller, and an exhaust valve connected to an exhaust valve controller. A control unit comprises at least one set of control algorithms configured to receive engine power demand data, and determine a number of cylinders of the plurality of cylinders for deactivation based on the received engine power demand data and further based on sensed or stored friction values for the plurality of cylinders. Determining the number of cylinders of for deactivation minimizes friction between the plurality of cylinders and their respective reciprocating piston assembly by selecting a cylinder combination of active cylinders and deactivated cylinders with the lowest total friction while meeting engine power demand.
