摘要: Video production systems and methods are provided for generating annotated class discussion videos, which contain real-time student commentary post-production annotations responsive to such student commentary, or a combination thereof. In an embodiment, the video production system includes a display device, a dedicated video input source, and a video processing device. The video processing device contains, in turn, a wireless receiver configured to receive wireless input signals from the dedicated video input source and a plurality of devices executing a student commentary capture application during a presentation, a controller operably coupled to the wireless receiver, and a memory storing computer-readable instructions. When executed by the controller, the computer-readable instructions cause the video processing device to generate an output video containing student commentary synchronized with the presentation as captured, at least in part, utilizing the dedicated video input source. The output video is then presented on the display device.

摘要: An automated solution to determine suitable time ranges or timestamps for captions is described. In one example, a content file includes subtitle data with captions for display over respective timeframes of video. Audio data is extracted from the video, and the audio data is compared against a sound threshold to identify auditory timeframes in which sound is above the threshold. The subtitle data is also parsed to identify subtitle-free timeframes in the video. A series of candidate time ranges is then identified based on overlapping ranges of the auditory timeframes and the subtitle-free timeframes. In some cases, one or more of the candidate time ranges can be merged together or omitted, and a final series of time ranges or timestamps for captions is obtained. The time ranges or timestamps can be used to add additional non-verbal and contextual captions and indicators, for example, or for other purposes.

摘要: The disclosed technology is a system and computer-implemented method for assembling and editing a video program from spoken words or soundbites. The disclosed technology imports source audio/video clips and any of multiple formats. Spoken audio is transcribed into searchable text. The text transcript is synchronized to the video track by timecode markers. Each spoken word corresponds to a timecode marker, which in turn corresponds to a video frame or frames. Using word processing operations and text editing functions, a user selects video segments by selecting corresponding transcribed text segments. By selecting text and arranging that text, a corresponding video program is assembled. The selected video segments are assembled on a timeline display in any chosen order by the user. The sequence of video segments may be reordered and edited, as desired, to produce a finished video program for export.

The operations include calculating a transition between the out element and the in element, selecting, assembling and scheduling the sequence of plurality of elements for the transition, and adding the out element to the at least one recipe.

The processing system may further obtain a three-dimensional object model of the first object, texture map the first object to the three-dimensional object model of the first object to generate an enhanced three-dimensional object model of the first object, and modify the volumetric video to include the enhanced three-dimensional object model of the first object in the location of the first object within the space of the volumetric video.
