Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a CNT X-ray source apparatus, and more particularly, to a CNT X-ray source apparatus configured to maximize utilization of the internal space of a CNT X-ray tube body, having grooves made of an insulating material, and provided with a base portion for supporting a plurality of electrodes. With this configuration, mass production is possible. The CNT X-ray source apparatus of the present disclosure includes a cathode electrode; an emitter provided on the cathode electrode and responsible for emitting electrons; a gate electrode disposed above the cathode electrode and spaced apart from the cathode electrode by a predetermined interval; a focusing electrode for preventing scattering of electrons emitted from the emitter; and a base portion responsible for supporting one or more of the cathode electrode, the gate electrode, and the focusing electrode and formed of an insulating material. In this case, one or more grooves for accommodating at least one of the cathode electrode, the gate electrode, and the focusing electrode are formed in the base portion.

Abstract: An anode target comprises: a plurality of target structures, used for receiving an electron beam emitted by a cathode to generate a ray, the plurality of target structures being of three-dimensional structures having bevels; a copper cooling body, used for bearing the target structures and comprising an oxygen-free copper cooling body; a cooling oil tube, used for cooling the anode target; and a shielding layer, used for achieving a shielding effect and comprising a tungsten shielding layer. The anode target, the ray light source, the computed tomography scanning device, and the imaging method in the present application are able to enable all target spots on the anode target to be distributed on a straight line, imaging quality of a ray system is improved, and complexity of an imaging system is reduced.

Abstract: An x-ray source can have increased x-ray flux and can simultaneously provide characteristic peaks and from multiple, different chemical elements. The target can include multiple layers of different chemical compositions. These layers can be distinguished by a higher atomic number, a higher energy K-alpha x-ray characteristic line, and a higher density in one layer compared to another layer. The layer that is lower in these characteristics can face the x-ray window. The layers can be formed by sputter deposition.

Abstract: It is a CNT device (1) (carbon-metal structure) equipped with a carbon nanotube layer (2) (CNT layer 2; same hereafter) on a metal pedestal (4). The metal pedestal (4) is brazed to the CNT layer (2) with a brazing material layer (3) interposed therebetween. When manufacturing the CNT device (1), firstly, the CNT layer (2) is formed on a heat-resistant textured substrate (6). Next, the metal pedestal (4) is brazed to the CNT layer (2) that is on the heat-resistant textured substrate (6) with the brazing material layer (3) interposed therebetween. Then, the metal pedestal (4) (and the CNT layer 2) is peeled off the heat-resistant textured substrate (6) to transfer the CNT layer (2) from the heat-resistant textured substrate (6) to the metal pedestal (4).

Abstract: A radiation source of a mammography apparatus includes plural first radiation tubes and one second radiation tube. The first radiation tubes are used for tomosynthesis imaging. In contrast, the second radiation tube is used for pre-imaging which is performed before the tomosynthesis imaging in order to set the irradiation conditions of radiation in the tomosynthesis imaging. The first radiation tubes are provided at plural positions where the focuses of the radiation are set so as to be arranged in a linear shape or an arc shape at equal intervals. The second radiation tube is provided at a position that is offset from the plural positions where the first radiation tubes are provided to a rear side which is a side opposite to the irradiation side of the radiation.

Abstract: X-ray transparent insulation can be sandwiched between an x-ray window and a ground plate. The x-ray transparent insulation can include aluminum nitride, boron nitride, or polyetherimide. The x-ray transparent insulation can include a curved side. The x-ray transparent insulation can be transparent to x-rays and resistant to x-ray damage, and can have high thermal conductivity. An x-ray window can have high thermal conductivity, high electrical conductivity, high melting point, low cost, and matched coefficient of thermal conductivity with the anode. The x-ray window can be made of tungsten. For consistent x-ray spot size and location, a focusing plate and a filament can be attached to a cathode with an open channel of the focusing plate aligned with a longitudinal dimension of the filament. Tabs of the focusing plate bordering the open channel can be bent to align with a location of the filament.

Abstract: An X-ray tube and an X-ray imaging device are disclosed. The X-ray tube comprises: a glass envelope; a cathode assembly, accommodated inside the glass envelope; and a core column structure, connected to the glass envelope and the cathode assembly, such that the cathode assembly is sealed inside the glass envelope. The core column structure comprises: a metal flat plate, wherein the cathode assembly is fixed to the metal flat plate; and a sealing bead, wherein the sealing bead is arranged in the metal flat plate, and an electrically conductive support rod connected to the cathode assembly passes through two ends of the sealing bead. The X-ray tube enables generated heat to be rapidly transferred to a cooling medium via thermally conductive metal to improve heat dissipation efficiency.

Abstract: A method for generating an x-ray image in color includes selecting three-sets of x-ray images in gray scale acquired with x-rays having different energy spectra, assigning basic colors RGB to the three-sets, and displaying the x-ray image in color with RGB signals generated. A system for generating an x-ray image in color includes an x-ray generator configured to generate at least three sets of x-rays with different energy spectra, an x-ray detector, a controller, a computer, and a color display. The computer is configured to generate three sets of x-ray images from output data of the x-ray detector acquired for x-rays with different energy spectra, assign RGB and display an x-ray image in color. A non-transitory computer readable medium stores an instruction, when the instruction is executed by a processor, cause the processor to perform the method for generating an x-ray image in color.
