    摘要: The device for making optical storage media such as CDs and DVDs unreadable has an element (10) which has a flat slot (12), at least one point projecting into the slot (12). At least one pair and ideally three pairs of coaxial tips aligned opposite each other can project into the slot (12). The element can be a bar (10) approximately 25 to 35 mm in diameter and approximately 150 mm long and the slot (12) can be more than 1 mm high and approximately 50 mm deep and arranged diametrically in the bar (10). One or more headless pins (14) can be screwed perpendicular to the plane of the slot (12) into the element or bar (10) at the front end of which the tips (16) are developed.

    摘要: A disk production apparatus has a movable-side metal mold and a fixed-side metal mold provided as facing the movable-side metal mold, the fixed-side metal mold having a center hole. Inserted into the center hole is a retainer to attach a stamper on the fixed-side metal mold. The center of an inner diameter of the retainer and the center of an outer diameter of the retainer are eccentric with each other. The retainer may be inserted into a center hole of the movable-side metal mold for attaching the stamper on the movable-side metal mold. A disk has a substrate having a center hole; a first zone formed on the substrate, data being recorded on the first zone; and a second zone formed on the substrate but outside the first zone. Labeled on the second zone is a marker indicating an amount of eccentricity applied to the retainer used in production of the disk by injection molding.

    摘要: A method for manufacturing an optical disk master includes: forming a resist layer by the application of a chemically amplified resist; converting an information signal into a multipulse signal having a symmetrical shape; exposing the resist layer in accordance with the multipulse signal; heat-treating the resist layer; and developing the resist layer to form signal pits. The signal pits are exposed to the multipulse signal, which is obtained by dividing a pulse into symmetrical pulses, thereby adjusting the exposure area and achieving a desired pit shape.

    摘要: An optical disk molding apparatus and method are provided which prevent data formed on a molded object from being damaged and prevent quality deterioration of the molded object. There are provided a mold moving device, a first gas supply device, and a controller, whereby a first release space part is formed by opening molds from a mold clamp state by a movement distance not damaging a data transferred face of the optical disk, and a gas is supplied to the first release space part at a point in time when the first release space part is formed, thereby totally separating the optical disk and a stamper from each other. No damage is caused to a data transferred face at the point in time when the first release space part is formed. Since separation between the optical disk and the stamper is performed via pressure of the gas after the first release space part is formed, data is prevented from being damaged over the data transferred face of the optical disk in its entirety.

    摘要: A substrate having a photoresist coated thereon is exposed to exposure light along a line through a lens 1. The exposure position is moved from the initial position O1 to a position O2 that is separated from the initial position by a distance corresponding to the sum of a groove width Gw and a land width Lw. The exposure is carried out along a line parallel to the initial exposure line. By repeating this, exposed areas having a width Lw and a separation Gw are formed on the photoresist. The photoresist is developed to remove the exposed areas of the photoresist. A resin or the like is pressed on it to form a replica. From the replica, a stamper is manufactured using an electroforming method. Finally, a grooved molding substrate is manufactured from a glass or resin using the stamper. Although the land width Lw is defined by the effective spot diameter φ of the optical system, the groove width Gw can be less than this value.
