摘要: In a vehicle visual recognition apparatus, an image capturing unit includes a rear camera that outputs a first captured image obtained by capturing an image of the rear of a vehicle, and a side camera that outputs a second captured image obtained by capturing an image of the rear side of the vehicle from the side of a vehicle body such that a part of an image capturing region of the side camera overlaps an image capturing region of a first image capturing means. An image boundary is set in an overlapping region between the first captured image and the second captured image, a first display image is extracted from the first captured image, and a second display image is extracted from the second captured image. An image of a following vehicle of the vehicle, which is included in the first captured image, is detected. A rear image obtained by joining the first display image and the second display image is displayed on a monitor to be visible to an occupant such that the image of the following vehicle is disposed in the first display image.

摘要: A vehicular vision system includes a plurality of vehicle cameras disposed at a vehicle, a trailer camera disposed at a trailer, and a video display screen disposed at the vehicle and viewable by a driver of the vehicle. When the trailer is hitched to the vehicle, the trailer camera captures image data and provides captured image data to an electronic control unit (ECU). The plurality of vehicle cameras capture image data and provide captured image data to the ECU. An auxiliary camera is detachably attached at an exterior side portion of the trailer. With the auxiliary camera detachably attached at the exterior side portion of the trailer and during a reversing maneuver of the vehicle with the trailer hitched to the vehicle, and responsive to a user input, video images derived from the image data captured by the auxiliary camera are displayed for viewing by the driver of the vehicle.

A display control device according to an embodiment of the present invention is characterized by comprising: an interface unit which performs data communication with a plurality of displays provided in a vehicle; and a processor which controls the displays provided in the vehicle by means of the interface unit, wherein the processor receives information about a preset input applied to at least one of the plurality of displays provided in the vehicle, and controls the plurality of displays in response to the preset input so that an operation corresponding to the preset input is performed.

A control part performs a driving assist based on images photographed by the photographing part. The control part is configured to judge whether the side minors are in the first or second state based on the images, and to continue the driving assist when the side minors are judged to be in the first state and suspend the driving assist and notify to the driver that the driving assist is not carried out when the side minors are judged to be in the second state.

摘要: A vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly includes a dual mode illumination module having a first light emitting diode (LED) operable to emit visible white light when electrically powered and a second LED operable to emit non-visible light when electrically powered. The first LED, when the vehicle is parked and the first LED is electrically powered, emits visible white light to provide visible ground illumination at a ground region at least partially along the side portion of the vehicle. Visible ground illumination by the vehicular exterior rearview mirror assembly at the ground region is locked-out during movement of the vehicle. The second LED, when the second LED is electrically powered, emits non-visible light to provide non-visible illumination for a camera viewing exterior and at least sideward of the vehicle. Non-visible light emission by the second LED is not locked-out during movement of the vehicle.

摘要: A vehicular vision system includes an electronic control unit (ECU), a plurality of exterior viewing vehicle cameras that capture image data and provide captured image data to the ECU. When the vehicle is towing a trailer, a rearward-viewing trailer camera captures image data and provides captured image data to the ECU. A video mirror display screen is disposed at an interior rearview mirror assembly of the vehicle and is operable to display video images derived from video image data provided from the ECU. The mirror assembly is adjustable between a mirror mode and a display mode. The mirror assembly, when in the display mode, is operable by the driver of the vehicle to display at the video mirror display screen (i) a single image display of video images, (ii) a dual image display of video images or (iii) a three image display of video images.
