    摘要： A method and apparatus for removably securing flexible packages to a display carrier strip so that the packages can be removed therefrom without damaging the sealed condition of the packages. The apparatus includes sealing jaws which form transverse seals on a package preform that is separated into two packages. The sealing jaws have attached to the underside thereof sealing blocks which carry sealing elements that heat-seal the display carrier strip to the top of each filled sealed package simultaneously with the forming of the transverse seals by the sealing jaws. The attachment of the packages to the carrier strip is greatly simplified compared with prior art attachment systems.

    摘要： A method for the production of flexible pouches each possessing a sealed product-containing pocket and incorporating an integral collar-shaped structure located externally of the pocket to enable suspending of the pouch from a support. More specifically, the method contemplates the sequential in-line production or manufacture of such flexible pouches which are essentially constituted from a sealable, flexible packaging material and which may consist of either a single-layer film material or of a multi-layered laminate so as to enable the containment in the pouches of the most varied types of products possessing widely different properties. In addition to the foregoing, also disclosed is a flexible pouch having a sealed product-containing pocket and incorporating an integral collar-shaped structure which is produced by the inventive method.

    摘要： A bag covering apparatus that puts a cover, which has been folded in two at the folding portion, on the opening of a bag. The same bag covering apparatus includes a folding piece which can operate to fold the cover in two at the folding portion and a cover retaining piece provided near the folding piece, having at least two holding portions capable of holding the folding portion of the cover. The folding portion of the cover is inserted into the holding portion of the cover retaining piece by the action of the folding piece, the cover retaining piece being movable such that when one of the holding pieces of the cover retaining piece faces the opening of the bag, the other holding piece of the cover retaining piece faces the folding piece. A linking piece is operationally linked to the cover retaining piece, making the opening of the bag and the holding portion of the cover retaining piece facing the opening of the bag approach each other by the action of the folding piece, positioning the cover on the opening of the bag.

In this device the non-adhesive surface of the belt-like members are sucked onto an outer peripheral surface of a rotating drum and are paid out by predetermined lengths respectively, cut by a cutter as the drum rotates to form the handle members and lifted off of the rotation drum by adhesive arms passing through recesses in the drum to adhere the adhesive surfaces at both ends of the handle member.

    摘要： The invention describes a machine which folds blanks of cut and creased material to define folded tabs which have tongues. The tongues have flaps which are folded over onto the tongues and the thus held tabs are transported by a revolving drum and the tongues and flaps are inserted in an aperture or apertures of a holding device holding groups of containers together. The machine operates continuously and the drum is provided with pairs of plates the opening and closing of which are controlled by cams to enable the insertion of the folded blanks within the pairs of plates by an insertion knife which reciprocates radially of the drum.
