摘要: Non-customized dental treatment trays used to provide a desired treatment are formed from elastomeric silicone or silicone-like material. They may be molded from a silicone composition or a non-silicone thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), such as SEBS and/or VERSAflex. The silicone composition can be a thermoset material formed by curing a two-part composition. The dental treatment trays possess high adaptability, flexibility, softness, and elastic elongation while also exhibiting resiliency in order to readily conform to the ridges, depressions and contours of a person's teeth during use. The trays possess a greater ability to adhere to a person's teeth compared to non-elastomeric thermoplastic materials. Due to their high adaptability and conformability, the non-customized dental trays behave like a semi-custom dental tray when placed over conformed to a person's teeth, particularly when used in combination with a sticky, viscous treatment composition.

摘要: A block copolymer forms a dielectric film with isolated polarizable domains. The block copolymer is a molecule selected to have an ionically functionalized end. The ionically functionalized end is selected to be less soluble in a solvent than another portion of the polymer such that, when a plurality of the block copolymer molecules are dissolved in the solvent, the first ends of the plurality of block copolymers interact with each other and aggregate to form isolated polarizable domains. The block copolymer forms an electrically isolating shell about a core comprised of the ionically functionalized ends. One or more additives may be disposed selectively within the core to increase the dielectric constant of the dielectric film.

摘要: Provided is a boron nitride agglomerate. The boron nitride agglomerate is of a multi-stage structure formed by arranging flaky hexagonal boron nitride primary particles in three-dimensional directions through adhesion of an inorganic binder. Further provided is a method for preparing the boron nitride agglomerate. The method comprises: mixing flaky hexagonal boron nitride primary particles with an inorganic binder, and controlling the mass of the inorganic binder to account for 0.02-20% of the mass of the flaky hexagonal boron nitride primary particles, so as to obtain the boron nitride agglomerate. The boron nitride agglomerate provided can be added to thermosetting resin compositions, and resin sheets, resin composite metal foil, prepregs, laminates, metal foil-covered laminates, and printed wiring boards prepared using the same have higher boron nitride addition, high thermal conductivity, and high peel strength.

摘要: To enhance adhesion between a resin and a glass filler and at the same time to disperse a rubber in the resin to thereby improve mechanical properties of a molded body. Provided is a resin composition containing an engineering plastic (A), a glass filler (B) and a rubber-containing graft polymer (C), wherein a ratio of an acrylonitrile-derived component in a chloroform-soluble component of the resin composition is not more than 2.0 mass %, a content of a fatty acid in 100 parts by mass of the resin composition is not more than 0.03 parts by mass, a total content of calcium and magnesium in 100 parts by mass of a dry sample of the resin composition extracted with chloroform is not more than 0.0008 parts by mass, and a content of aluminum is not more than 0.0008 parts by mass. Also provided is a resin composition further containing a salt (D) of an alkali metal and a strong acid. The engineering plastic (A) is preferably an aromatic polycarbonate resin. Also provided is a molded body obtained by molding the resin composition.
