    摘要: A ride vehicle for use in amusement park rides with interactive game or show equipment. A vehicle body is included with a passenger seat and an interactive device operable by a passenger to interact with the interactive game. A mounting assembly is provided in or on vehicle body and is configured for pivotally mounting the interactive device on the vehicle body. The mounting assembly may be adapted such as with a cam or guide plate to rotate or otherwise position the interactive device through a range of positions at varying distances from the seat. Further, A passenger restraint assembly is provided and is used to determine a size of the passenger in the seat. The passenger restraint is linked to the mounting assembly to drive the mounting assembly so as to place the interactive device at a passenger-use position that is selected based on the defined size of the passenger.

    摘要: A manually operated actuator is described with which small incremental motions of a rod are obtained to advance a piston of a prefilled syringe. The device employs a reciprocally actuated drive element with a hole through which the rod passes freely when the drive element is in a release position. When the drive element is pivoted to a rod engaging position a pair of edges formed by the hole engage the rod and advance it an increment depending upon the amount of linear movement of the drive element. A back-up inhibitor is employed to prevent the rod from moving back when the drive element is returned to a release position. The back-up inhibitor is syringe responsive by employing a mechanism which causes engagement of the rod by the inhibitor when a syringe is attached to the actuator housing. A syringe with specially adapted flanges is described for use with the actuator.

    摘要: A floor mounted shift console for an automatic transmission has a straight-line pattern for the conventional "P R N D I L" pattern and a modified "H" pattern for a 1-2-3 shift sequence. The manual shift lever is biased into an operating position with the yoke of a primary carrier during the straight-line pattern in all positions except "L". A blocker portion on the console prevents changing from the straight-line pattern to the modified "H" pattern except from "L", but permits a change from 2nd or 3rd in the modified "H" pattern to "I" or "D", respectively. A secondary carrier, cam and lever move the transmission control output cable, which is connected to the primary carrier, in a straight line during movement of the manual shift lever to the 2nd and 3rd positions of the modified "H" pattern. A link mechanism for locking the shift console in "Park" is also provided.

Predetermined, proportionately variable, asymmetric loads between the two actuators are accomodated by a load sensitive brake in conjunction with a fuse link which fails in the event of single actuator or drive means failure. The fuse link is provided by employing a shear pin to attach the pinion gear in the differential to the pinion shaft. The shear pin failure strength in conjunction with the load variable brake determines the allowable differential torque between the two driven bevel gears.

    摘要: In a manually operable shift control mechanism operatively connected with a transmission through shifting means wherein a shift lever controls a preselector valve means for selectively establishing one of a multiplicity of consecutively arranged speed ratios in the transmission, an escapement assembly including an arcuate control member, affixed to the shift control housing, having a multiplicity of detent cut-outs corresponding with the angular location but exceeding the number of the transmission settings; an escapement latch pivotally secured to the shift lever and having allochiral tooth portions alternately capable of entering into one of the detent cut-outs to cause at least momentary interference between the control member and the escapement latch; and bias means for sequentially pivoting and again centering the escapement latch relative to the control member for each transmission setting, whereby all but the slowest movement of the shift lever will cause a momentary entry and subsequent momentary interference between the control member and the escapement latch, thereby producing sequential single-step shifts of the transmission. Means for centering the shift lever relative to the detent cut-outs as well as providing distinct operator "feel" and escapement override means are also set forth.
