摘要： An instant alert notifier and docking station for preferred use in emergency situations. Preferably, several notifiers and docking station combinations will be located through a building or location. In a preferred use, the user presses a button and pulls the device cover, which causes the instant alert notifier to preferably perform some or all of the following functions (1) snaps a still image of the person removing the notifier, (2) triggers a “code red” alert and/or activates flashing red LEDS on the mounting/docking stations where they are located throughout the building/in all locations and (3) switches from a front to a rear camera operation. Using the notifier, real time, time- and date-stamped video, audio and/or still images can be captured and uploaded to off-site or on premises law enforcement and first responder devices. The pressing of the button or removal of the notifier from the docking station can also cause the system to stream live video, audio and/or images to the first responders/emergency responders from all of the other notifiers in the building still contained within their corresponding docking stations.

The disclosure also concerns a warning assembly comprising such a warning device and a method of emitting a warning light signal.

摘要： Disclosed are a method and/or an apparatus of a foldable-reinstallable wireless warning system for transporting oversize loads. The system includes a transmitter unit, a towing receiver unit, a foldable banner, a battery enclosure, and a set of surface mounted lights. The transmitter unit is configured to transmit an encoded signal. The towing receiver unit is separate from the transmitter unit and is configured to receive and communicate the encoded signal to a radio receiver. The foldable banner has an oversize load warning message printed thereupon. The battery enclosure and the set of surface mounted lights are stitched onto the foldable banner. The radio receiver, a lithium-ion battery and a strobe light controller are housed in the battery enclosure. The set of surface mounted lights includes stop tail turn lights, strobe lights and D.O.T. lights.

The integrated HEV control system is also operable for detecting the presence of system failures and thereafter selecting at least one remedial action responsive to the system failures such that the system failures are corrected or minimized. The selected remedial action is also verified as being appropriate, monitored and thereafter executed.

The display unit may include a light-guide cover that prevents leakage of light and a regulation portion that restricts undesirable movement of a lead wire which might obstruct with rotation of the indicating needle.

The display unit is provided between the pointer portion and the arm portion of the needle in a direction for observing the reference face of the display device.

Light is transmitted into the pointer via a facet having an inclined reflective surface through which a gauge motor output shaft passes. The facet may be integrally formed in the light distribution layer which illuminates the scale indicia or a separate discreet component. A novel telltale used in conjunction with an instrument panel having a light distribution layer is also provided which illuminates the telltale indicia by passing light through the light distribution layer without affecting the illumination of other indicia in the graphic layer. Method of manufacturing analog gauges as well as method for using an analog gauge to transmit information to a viewer.

The indicating elements have an axis parallel to the display surface and are provided with at least two information display faces preferably of different colors. Locking elements are provided so that the indicating elements are maintained with one of the information carrying faces aligned with the display surface. The arresting elements may include a permanent magnet. The arrangement is particularly applicable for manually-controlled signal display devices.
