摘要: Described are examples for providing end-to-end intent definition of network functions for network slice management. Intents are defined for each level of network constituent including slices, slice subnets, and management functions. A system of intent based network slice management includes a network slice management function (NSMF) configured to receive a service profile from a communication service management function (CSMF) and derive an intent for each desired network slice subnet for a network slice subnet management function (NSSMF). The NSSMF is configured to derive requirements for a plurality of network functions (NFs) and provide an intent defining the requirements of a respective NF to a network function management function (NFMF). The NFMF is configured to receive the intent for the respective NF via an intent-based interface for management of NFs and derive a network resource model (NRM) for the respective NF based on the intent.

摘要: A system designed for increasing network communication speed for users, while lowering network congestion for content owners and ISPs. The system employs network elements including an acceleration server, clients, agents, and peers, where communication requests generated by applications are intercepted by the client on the same machine. The IP address of the server in the communication request is transmitted to the acceleration server, which provides a list of agents to use for this IP address. The communication request is sent to the agents. One or more of the agents respond with a list of peers that have previously seen some or all of the content which is the response to this request (after checking whether this data is still valid). The client then downloads the data from these peers in parts and in parallel, thereby speeding up the Web transfer, releasing congestion from the Web by fetching the information from multiple sources, and relieving traffic from Web servers by offloading the data transfers from them to nearby peers.

摘要: A network analytics controller is established in a network. The network includes a plurality of nodes. A plurality of network analytics agents is established; each agent at a node of the network. Network analytics configuration parameters, including a network analytics scope, are received at the networks analytics controller. A task is assigned to each agent at a node determined to be within the network analytics scope, the task comprising that portion of the network analytics specified in the network analytics configuration parameters relevant to the corresponding node. The assigned task is performed at each agent assigned a task. The networks analytics controller receives the results of each performed task, and aggregates the received results.

摘要: A computer-implemented method for managing a contact center one or more processors in a management network (a) receiving, from an end-user network, data associated with a plurality of agent instances servicing incoming communications for the contact center, wherein the contact center, the end-user network, and the management network are associated with the enterprise; (b) determining, based on a specification of a logical directive, an operation to be performed in relation to the plurality of agent instances, the specification of the logical directive having at least one condition that, if satisfied by the received data associated with the plurality of agent instances servicing the incoming communications for the contact center, defines the operation to be performed; and (c) providing, to one or more servers, the determined operation to be performed, wherein the operation includes making a modification relating to (i) at least one of the plurality of agent instances and/or (ii) the servicing of the incoming communications. A computing system and article of manufacture are also provided.

摘要: A method of managing traffic associated with a User Equipment, UE, by a User Plane Function, UPF, in a telecommunication network, said UPF being associated with a Session Management Function, SMF, and a Network Data Analytics Function, NWDAF, wherein said UPF has access to an observation space comprising a list of possible states said network may take and wherein said UPF has access to an action space comprising a list of possible actions that said UPF is allowed to perform, said method comprising the steps of receiving a state of said network, wherein said state is comprised by said list of possible states, receiving a reward, wherein said reward indicates a degree of satisfaction of said network to be in said state, receiving network traffic from said UE and performing, triggered by said received traffic, an action comprised by said list of possible actions based on said received state of said network and based on said received reward.
