Abstract: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for migrating a Sub-Network Connection Protection (SNCP) service. The method comprises: receiving a migration request of an SNCP service, wherein the migration request comprises one of: Permanent Connection (PC) to Soft Permanent Connection (SPC) migration, SPC to PC migration; respectively setting cross status control bits of a current operation connection and a correlative connection thereof according to the received migration request, and performing collective migration of the current operation connection and the correlative connection thereof according to the set cross status control bits; respectively modifying the cross status control bits of the current connection and the correlative connection thereof according to the migration result. The consistency of cross management authorities of a working connection and a protection connection of the SNCP service migration can be ensured by the present invention.

Abstract: Provided herein are compositions, systems, methods, and kits for joining together the ends of one or more polynucleotides using at least one pair of blocking oligonucleotide adaptors. Blocking oligonucleotide adaptors can be used to reduce the formation of adaptor dimers or trimers (or higher-order concatemers) which can improve the yield of desirable polynucleotide-adaptor products in any recombinant nucleic acid workflow. Blocking oligonucleotide adaptors can comprise a double-stranded oligonucleotide adaptor (duplex) having an overhang cohesive portion that anneals with a blocking oligonucleotide which can be a separate single-stranded oligonucleotide. A blocking oligonucleotide, when annealed to an overhang portion, can prevent undesirable hybridization of the overhang portion to another nucleic acid, such as the overhang portion from another blocking oligonucleotide adaptor or a polynucleotide of interest.

Abstract: Methods and structure for improved client/server program communication by transmitting dynamically maintained service capabilities information from the server program to the client program. The client program generates a service request based on the received service capabilities information. Since the service capabilities information is retrieved from the server program and is dynamically maintained by the server program, the client program need not be updated when available services from the server program are modified. In one exemplary embodiment, the client program may be a print application client program and the server program may be a print server program. The print client program retrieves the current printer device capabilities (service capabilities information) and generates a print job ticket (service request) based on the retrieved, dynamically maintained printer device capability information. The job ticket is then transmitted to the server program to cause the printing of the document specified by the job ticket.

Abstract: A device includes a mounting apparatus and a supporting apparatus. The mounting apparatus includes a fixing bracket, an engaging member slidably mounted to the fixing bracket, and an operation member mounted to the engaging member. The fixing bracket defines first and second engaging holes. The supporting apparatus includes a connecting bracket detachably mounted to the fixing bracket. The fixing bracket defines a connecting hole. The connecting bracket comprises a hook. The engaging member comprises a stop piece. The operation member forms a projection. When the engaging member is slid to engage the projection into the first engaging hole, the stop piece moves away from the connecting hole and the first hook extends through the connecting hole. The engaging member is slid to engage the projection in the second engaging hole, the stop piece moves between the connecting hole and the hook to engage with the hook.
