Abstract:
A method, system and device are provided for avoiding in-device coexistence interference between different radio technologies by allocating random access channel preambles to include one or more dedicated access preambles to be sued for sending IDC interference indication messages over a random access channel (RACH) to a radio access network. In response, the radio network provides control parameters and/or instructions for avoiding interference in a random access response message corresponding to the IDC interference indication message using one or more fields in the MAC subheader and payload fields of a designated IDC MAC PDU message.

Systems, methods and products directed toward creating device preloads via employing base and additional image content. One aspect includes communicating an aspect of an information handling device, and assimilating additional image content at the information handling device responsive to communication of the aspect of the device, wherein a base image and the additional image content are combined to form a unitary device image. Other embodiments are described herein.
Abstract:
There is presently provided compounds of formula (I), which are useful as p-type semiconductor materials and in devices comprising such p-type semiconductor materials.
Abstract:
An encryption key fragment is divided into a number of encryption key fragments. Requests to store different ones of the encryption key fragments are transmitted to different computer memory storage systems. An individual request to store an encryption key fragment includes one of the encryption key fragments and bears an access control hallmark for regulating access to the encryption key fragment.
Abstract:
A system and computer program product for performing visual surveillance of one or more moving objects include registering one or more images captured by one or more cameras, wherein registering the one or more images comprises region-based registration of the one or more images in two or more adjacent frames, performing motion segmentation of the one or more images to detect one or more moving objects and one or more background regions in the one or more images, and tracking the one or more moving objects to facilitate visual surveillance of the one or more moving objects.
Abstract:
In general, to provide acknowledgment information by a first wireless device, the first wireless device sends repeated instances of acknowledgment information in respective first and second frame structures, in response to receipt of first information from a second wireless device. In addition, the first wireless device also sends further acknowledgment information in the second frame structure that is responsive to second information received from the second wireless device.
Abstract:
It is provided a method for providing a service guide in a network providing a plurality of multicast services, said network comprising at least one client device connected to a first device, wherein a subset of said plurality of multicast services is being multicast to said at least one client device via said first device, and the service guide provides a list of the plurality of multicast services in a second order; and at the side of a client device, the method comprises the steps of determining a list of the plurality of multicast services in a first order, wherein the order is changed from the second order to the first order based on the multicast services of the subset; and presenting said list of multicast services in said first order.
Abstract:
Provided are silica nanoparticles doped with dyes having a negative charge by using cationic polyelectrolyte as templet and preparing method thereof. The nanoparticles have a core-shell structure, inner core comprises cationic polyelectrolyte aggregates, in which fluorescent dye having a negative charge and SiO2 are doped, and optional additive having a negative charge, the shell is consisted of SiO2, wherein the sum of negative charge carried by the additives and the fluorescent dye is less than that of positive charge carried by the polyelectrolyte aggregates. The preparing method comprises the following steps: preparing complex solution of polyelectrolyte and fluorescent dye; prehydrolysis of organosilicon source; coating with organosilicon source. The method can be applied to dope silica with various fluorescent dyes having a negative charge. Various dyes can be doped at the same time, the doping amount, and particle diameter and shape of the product can be controlled by the method. The nanoparticles are spherical, the particle diameter thereof is uniform, and colloid formed therefrom is stable.
Abstract:
A handrail assembly for an escalator system includes a handrail movable along a length of the escalator and a handrail guide assembly defining a travel path for the handrail. The handrail guide assembly includes a handrail guide and a plurality of sliding bearing supports interconnected to form a handrail chain and secured to the handrail guide. One or more sliding bearings extend at least partially through each sliding bearing support of the handrail chain. A shaft extends through each sliding bearing support and is in sliding contact with the one or more sliding bearings. One or more rollers are secured to at least one end of the shaft and is in rolling contact with the handrail.
Abstract:
The present invention is a method and system for supporting a beamforming antenna system in a multiple user mobile broadband communication network including a process for setting and adjusting the magnitude and phase of the signal to user equipment from each antenna. Namely, the present invention supports the communication of power signal values or levels to user equipment in a manner that keeps pace with the rapid variations of the power levels that occur in the dynamic scheduling of transmissions on the cell site. The present invention satisfies this need for an improved signal strength signaling to user equipment for the situation where multiple users are located on the cell site.
