Abstract:
A video output device includes: a drawing portion drawing successively images corresponding to image information at a first frequency; and an output portion outputting to a three-dimensional television receiver two pieces of image information based on the images corresponding to the image information successively drawn by the drawing portion with the two pieces of image information being packed as first image information and second image information in a form of three-dimensional image information containing therein the first image information and the second image information which are to be transmitted to the three-dimensional television receiver adapted to perform three-dimensional display at a second frequency approximately half of the first frequency.
Abstract:
A hand-held electronic device, method of operation and computer readable medium are disclosed. The device may include a case having one or more major surfaces. A visual display and a touch interface are disposed on at least one of the major surfaces. A processor is operably coupled to the visual display and touch screen. Instructions executable by the processor may be configured to a) present an image on the visual display containing one or more active elements; b) correlate one or more active portions of the touch interface to one or more corresponding active elements in the image on the visual display; and c) adjust a layout of content shown on the display according to a probability of one or more actions that may be taken with the one or more active elements.
Abstract:
Aspects of the present disclosure relate to techniques for processing a source audio signal in order to localize sounds. In particular, aspects of the present disclosure relate to sound localization techniques which externalize sounds for headphone audio, such as a virtual surround sound headphone system. In various implementations, room reverberations and other acoustic effects of the environment may be more accurately modeled using improved room reverberation models. For example, in some implementations, the underlying source signal may be filtered with a filter representing a room impulse response that is a combination of a stereo room impulse response and a mono room impulse response. By way of further example, in some implementations the source signal may be filtered with a combined impulse response filter that is derived from binaural recordings of simulated impulses recorded in a desired reverberant environment.
Abstract:
The disclosure provides methods and systems for warning a user of a head mounted display that the user approaches an edge of field of view of a camera or one or more tangible obstacles. The warning includes presenting audio and/or displayable messages to the user, or moving the display(s) of the head mounted displays away of the user's eyes. The determination that the user approaches the edge of scene or a tangible obstacle is made by dynamically tracking motions of the users through analysis of images and/or depth data obtained from image sensor(s) and/or depth sensor(s) secured to either the head mounted display, arranged outside of the scene and not secured to the head mounted display, or a combination of both.
Abstract:
A slide cover is curved such that a central portion thereof in a front and rear direction is positioned higher than a front edge and a rear edge thereof. A disk accommodation section in which an optical disk is to be disposed is covered with the slide cover which is positioned at a closed position. A rotational driving portion configured to be fitted in a center hole of the optical disk to rotate the optical disk is provided on the disk accommodation section. With this electronic apparatus, the cost can be reduced, and an installation operation of an optical disk by a user can be facilitated.
Abstract:
A touch coordinate acquisition unit acquires the coordinate position of a touch point on a touch panel. An area determination unit determines whether or not the coordinate position of a touch point is present within an enlarging operation area provided in part of the touch panel. A drag determination unit determines if a touch point has been dragged. When the coordinate position of a touch point is present within the enlarging operation area and the touch point has been dragged, an operation mode switching unit switches the operation mode for touch inputs from a normal operation mode to an enlarging operation mode. When the operation mode is switched to the enlarging operation mode, a touch coordinate transformation unit transforms the coordinates of an actual touch point within the enlarging operation area into the coordinates of a virtual touch point for the whole area of the touch panel.
Abstract:
The present disclosure is to provide a DC/DC converter capable of suppressing increase in the ripple amount of the output voltage in association with switching of the number of drive phases. N (N is an integer equal to or larger than 2) switching circuits each generate a switching voltage at the switching node according to an input pulse signal. A phase controller dynamically switches the number K (K is an integer equal to or smaller than N) of drive phases according to the state of a DC/DC converter at the time. A pulse modulator generates a pulse signal whose frequency changes according to the number K of drive phases. A distributor selects K switching circuits among the N switching circuits and distributes the pulse signal to each of the selected K switching circuits with a phase difference of (360/K) degrees.
Abstract:
Provided is an optical disk drive including a turntable on which an optical disk is mounted and which rotates the optical disk, a chuck pulley movable in the direction of an axis of the turntable between a first pulley position spaced from the turntable and a second pulley position which is close to the turntable and in which the chuck pulley grips the optical disk together with the turntable, the chuck pulley being attracted toward the turntable by a magnetic force, and a pulley operating mechanism for moving the chuck pulley between the first pulley position and the second pulley position. The pulley operating mechanism, at the time of moving the chuck pulley between the first pulley position and the second pulley position, inclines the chuck pulley in relation to the turntable, and brings the chuck pulley closer to or away from the turntable.
Abstract:
The present invention is to facilitate finding of a user expected to have a high relevance among other users present in the same living area when identification information of these other users is displayed as a list. A location information acquirer acquires location information showing a location measured in an information processing terminal. A display controller (70) carries out control to make identification information of a plurality of users be displayed on a specific terminal. The display controller (70) carries out control to make the identification information of the plurality of users be displayed in order according to timing when a reference location is measured by the specific terminal or the number of times of existence of a location shown by location information acquired from the information processing terminal corresponding to a user as a subject of display control in an area including the reference location about a case in which the location shown by the location information acquired from the information processing terminal corresponding to the user as the subject of the display control exists in the area including the reference location.
