Abstract: A sliding door apparatus capable of effectively restraining sliding movement of a door body is provided. A sliding door apparatus 1 includes: a rail 20 having an inner surface 24 formed to have a concave shape, the inner surface 24 having a first support surface 24A and a second support surface 24B which are not parallel to each other; a hanger 30A, 30B having a first driving member (32, 37) in rolling contact with the first support surface 24A, and a second driving member (33, 38) in rolling contact with the second support surface 24B; and a door body 40 configured to be moved in a longitudinal direction of the rail 20 through the hanger 30A, 30B. When seen along the longitudinal direction of the rail, the first support surface 24A and the second support surface 24B are formed to come close to each other as they extend toward a bottom of the inner surface 24.

Abstract: A window assembly is disclosed for a vehicle having a window regulator rail and a window carrier configured to shift along the window regulator rail. The window assembly includes a glass panel having a mounting end and a clip assembly fixed to the mounting end of the glass panel. The clip assembly is configured to be fixed to the window carrier and includes a clip body defined by a first end configured to engage the window carrier and an opposing second end defining a channel. The clip assembly also includes a retainer arranged in the channel and configured to accept and position the glass panel mounting end inside the channel. The clip assembly additionally includes an adhesive configured to fill the channel and cure therein after the mounting end of the glass panel has been positioned inside the channel. A vehicle door having such a window assembly is also disclosed.

Abstract: A vertical door system includes: a door having a door frame, the door frame having at least one frame section; an operator; two vertical supports configured to: (a) be installable on opposite sides of the door opening and (b) support the vertical door, at least one of the vertical supports having: a guide track on a surface of the vertical support facing toward the door opening; and a drive system having: an elongated threaded rod drivable by the operator via a gearing arranged between the operator and the threaded rod; and one or more blocks, each block comprising a guide track connecting portion that connects to a guide track so the connected block is freely movable along the guide track, each block having a through-bore for accepting the threaded rod so that the block is positioned on the threaded rod and is movable along the threaded rod.

Abstract: A component for a window regulator system of a vehicle closure panel including: a rail having a rail aperture extending between a first side of the rail and a second side opposite the first side, the rail aperture having a retaining surface associated with the rail aperture; a pulley for mounting adjacent to the first side, the pulley having a pulley aperture with a pulley surface opposite the first side; a pulley rivet having a rivet body including a retaining lip for engaging with the pulley surface and a retainer portion for engaging with the retaining surface, the rivet body configured for receipt in both the pulley aperture and the rail aperture when installed, the rivet body having a hole for receiving a fastener for fastening the rail to a panel via the pulley rivet; wherein, when installed, the rivet body is positioned within the pulley aperture and within the rail aperture, such that engagement between the retaining lip and the pulley surface inhibits separation of the pulley from the rail while engagement of the retainer portion with the retaining surface inhibits separation of the pulley rivet from the rail aperture.

Abstract: A guide rail for a window lifter for raising and lowering a window pane or door system for a vehicle door having a carrier and at least two guide rails disposed on the carrier. The guide rails include a guide profile that can be twisted or bent for guiding an adjusting part of the window lifter coupled to the window pane along an adjusting direction predetermined by the guide rails and the guide profile includes a base and two legs protruding at obtuse draft angles from the ends of the base, such that the size of the draft angles is proportional to the bending or twisting of the guide rails prescribed by the kinematics of the retraction of the window pane over the adjusting travel of the window pane.
