Abstract:
Door with automatic opening and closing, including a door panel, a support column fixed to the door panel and suitable for rotating around its longitudinal axis in such a way to move the door panel between two end-of-travel positions, an electric motor for actuating the support column and a drive unit for transmitting the motion from the electric motor to the support column. The drive unit has a first drive element connected to the electric motor and a second drive element connected to the support column, wherein the drive unit includes a clutch unit that is interposed between the first drive element and the electric motor or between the second drive element and the support column. The door also has an automatic lock that completes the automation of the door by detectors.
Abstract:
A door closer comprising a drive spindle which is operably connected to a first spring configured to apply a first closing torque to the drive spindle, wherein the drive spindle is also operably connected to a second spring configured to apply a second closing torque to the drive spindle, wherein the connection between the first spring and the drive spindle is independent from the connection between the second spring and the drive spindle, and wherein variation of the first closing torque as a function of drive spindle orientation is different from variation of the second closing torque as a function of drive spindle orientation.
Abstract:
A vehicle door driving apparatus includes a driving mechanism fixed to a vehicle door and including a motor and a drum rotationally driven by the motor. A rope member is wound around the drum and linked to the vehicle body, and rotation of the drum is transmitted to the vehicle body by the rope member to open and close the vehicle door. The driving mechanism includes: a first small-diameter gear linked to the rotary axis of the motor to rotate together with the rotary shaft of the motor; a transmission gear rotatable around the axis extending in the vehicle width direction; a sun gear rotatable around such axis; a ring gear disposed on the same axis as the sun gear; and a carrier having a planet gear engaging the sun gear and the ring gear, and linked to the drum so that the carrier rotates together with the drum.
Abstract:
The present application relates to an automotive cargo or a tray area cover assembly. The cover assembly includes a cover for covering a cargo or a tray area of an automobile. One or more rib supports are provided for moving over the cargo or the tray area and supporting the cover.
Abstract:
A vertical door system includes: a door having a door frame, the door frame having at least one frame section; an operator; two vertical supports configured to: (a) be installable on opposite sides of the door opening and (b) support the vertical door, at least one of the vertical supports having: a guide track on a surface of the vertical support facing toward the door opening; and a drive system having: an elongated threaded rod drivable by the operator via a gearing arranged between the operator and the threaded rod; and one or more blocks, each block comprising a guide track connecting portion that connects to a guide track so the connected block is freely movable along the guide track, each block having a through-bore for accepting the threaded rod so that the block is positioned on the threaded rod and is movable along the threaded rod.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a drive device in vehicle component, comprising an electric drive motor, the armature shaft thereof being connected to a gearbox device for driving an output shaft. The gearbox device comprises at least one double gearbox unit, made of two gear stages having two changes in direction.
Abstract:
A door operator with an electrical back check feature is disclosed. Embodiments of the present invention are realized by a motorized door operator that electrically creates a back check force for an opening door. The door operator simulates the back check normally created by hydraulic means in convention door closers, but without the use of pistons, springs or hydraulic fluid. The door operator includes a motor disposed to operatively connect to a door so that the door will open when the motor moves, and a position sensor to determine a position of the door. A processor is programmed to exert a closing force on the door in the back check region. In some embodiments, the closing force is exerted by injecting a voltage into the electric motor of the door operator.
Abstract:
A counterbalance system for an upward acting door includes a cable drum support shaft and a torsion spring drive mechanism mounted adjacent one or both sides of the door and drivably connected to the drum support shaft. The spring drive mechanism includes a torsion coil spring mounted on a frame and connected to a vertically oriented shaft which, in turn, is connected to an output shaft by way of a bevel gear drive. A spring winder device is connected to one end of the spring and to the frame. Indicia on the spring is viewable through a window on the mechanism frame for indicating the number of revolutions imposed on the spring to set a predetermined counterbalance torque.
Abstract:
Hinged window drive systems and window assemblies incorporating them provide for a combination of powered or motorized operation in addition to manual operation using a hand crank, with the opportunity for a user to switch between motorized operation and manual operation as needed.
