Abstract: An oil based composition having a smooth sensation of use, which exhibits a superior unevenness correcting effect, and which may be filled in a container which is not airtight, is provided. An oil based composition includes, with respect to 100% by mass of the oil based composition: (a) 1 to 20% by mass of a dextrin fatty acid ester; (b) less than 5% by mass of a volatile oil component having a boiling point of less than or equal to 250° C. at normal pressure; (c) 10 to 60% by mass of a non volatile oil which is a liquid at normal temperature and normal pressure; and (d) 10 to 50% by mass of a silicone resin powder.

Abstract: A cosmetic composition for the eyes of the present disclosure contains 10.01 to 30% by mass of a silicone series film forming agent and 25 to 70% by mass of a volatile oil component with respect to the total amount of the cosmetic composition for the eyes. The amount of a volatile silicone series oil component is 25% by mass or greater with respect to the total volatile oil component, and the hardness is 30 or greater and 100 or less. The cosmetic composition has superior cosmetic lasting effects and can be utilized as both mascara and eyeliner.

Abstract: Provided are an evaluation method for objectively evaluating the glow of the skin, a skin glow improver, and a method for examining skin glow improvers. This method for evaluating the glow of the skin comprises assessing the specular reflectance and diffuse reflectance of skin after polarized light is applied to the surface of the skin, and determining that glow is present in the skin when prescribed conditions are satisfied. A skin glow improver is provided by combining an alkali metal salt of alkoxysalicylic acid and trimethylglycine. This method for examining skin glow improvers makes it possible, using a significant decrease in surface roughness as an indicator, to examine samples capable of improving the specular reflectance of the skin.

Abstract: A sunscreen cosmetic achieves high ultraviolet ray protection effect even when restricting a blended amount of the liquid ultraviolet ray absorbing agents ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and octocrylene, that is stable and has excellent texture, and does not resulting in an unnatural whiteness on application. A sunscreen cosmetic comprises: (A) 0.5 to 10.0 mass % of t-butyl methoxydibenzoylmethane and/or diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate; (B) 0.5 to 5.0 mass % of bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine; (C) 0.5 to 5.0 mass % of ethylhexyl triazone; (D) 5 to 50 mass % of an ester oil to which the ingredients (A), (B) and (C) have a solubility, at 25° C., of 10% or more; and (E) 1.5 to 12 mass % of an ultraviolet ray scattering agent; wherein the total blended amount of the ingredients (A), (B) and (C) is 1.5 to 15 mass % and the total blended amount of ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and octocrylene is 3 mass % or less.

The control computation unit computes the evaluation value by computing mechanical characteristics and a blood flow condition of the skin as the status values and associating the mechanical characteristics and the blood flow condition at a cross-sectional position of the skin.
