Abstract: A vehicle brake control device performs select-low anti-lock brake control. In the select-low anti-lock brake control, in a decrease period, in which braking force on a first wheel that is one of left and right wheels that has a lower wheel speed is decreased, braking force on a second wheel that is one of the left and right wheels that has a higher wheel speed is also decreased. In an increase period, in which the braking force on the first wheel is increased, the braking force on the second wheel is also increased. The vehicle brake control device is configured such that, when performing the anti-lock brake control, the vehicle brake device sets the braking force on the second wheel to be greater when the tendency for instability in the vehicle behavior is small than when such tendency is large.

Abstract: For traction control, different filters, i.e., a hydraulic-pressure-increase filter and a hydraulic-pressure-decrease filter, are provided for increasing and decreasing target pressure, respectively. The inhibiting effect that the hydraulic-pressure-increase filter exhibits with respect to target pressure changes is made less than the inhibiting effect that the hydraulic-pressure-decrease filter exhibits with respect to changes in the target pressure, and so the target pressure is increased quickly but decreased slowly. As such, even if the wheel-cylinder pressure decreases subsequent to the actual wheel-cylinder pressure having increased to follow the target pressure, the wheel-cylinder pressure decreases only gradually, reducing the amount of pressure increase needed to reach the target pressure when the wheel-cylinder pressure is next increased. The wheel-cylinder pressure can thus be increased sufficiently to reach the target pressure with a high degree of responsiveness, making it possible to prevent being unable to increase the wheel-cylinder pressure accurately due to low pressurization performance.

Abstract: A gear pump apparatus includes a gear pump and a sealing mechanism which includes an annular rubber member, an outer member, and an inner member. One of the outer member and a casing of the gear pump apparatus has a contact member located outside a portion of the outer member which contacts the gear pump in a radial direction of the gear pump. The contact member is placed to create a physical contact between the outer member and the casing to absorb a part of force by which the outer member is pressed against the gear pump.
